Ps 116 : 5 - 6 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

The Lord is merciful and righteous, And our God has mercy. The Lord is He who watches over children.

ወንጌል Gospel

Mk 10 : 13 - 16 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

13. Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. 14. But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. 15. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” 16. And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

2Cor 5 : 11 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

11. Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences. 12. For we do not commend ourselves again to you, but give you opportunity to boast on our behalf, that you may have an answer for those who boast in appearance and not in heart. 13. For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; or if we are of sound mind, it is for you. 14. For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15. and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. 16. Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19. that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. 21. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle

1Jn 1 : 4 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

4. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full. 5. This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

ግብረ ሃዋርያት Acts

Acts 3 : 17 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

17. “Yet now, brethren, I know that you did it in ignorance, as did also your rulers. 18. But those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled. 19. Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, 20. and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, 21. whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. 22. For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘ The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you. 23. And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people. ’ 24. Yes, and all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have also foretold these days. 25. You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘ And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. ’ 26. To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.”

Mt 18 : 18 - 22 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

18. “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 19. “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” 21. Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” 22. Jesus said to him, “ I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. Mt 26 : 12 - 16 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

12. For in pouring this fragrant oil on My body, she did it for My burial. 13. Assuredly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told as a memorial to her.” 14. Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests 15. and said, “What are you willing to give me if I deliver Him to you?” And they counted out to him thirty pieces of silver. 16. So from that time he sought opportunity to betray Him. The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

Mt 26 : 6 - 13 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

6. And when Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, 7. a woman came to Him having an alabaster flask of very costly fragrant oil, and she poured it on His head as He sat at the table. 8. But when His disciples saw it, they were indignant, saying, “Why this waste? 9. For this fragrant oil might have been sold for much and given to the poor.” 10. But when Jesus was aware of it, He said to them, “Why do you trouble the woman? For she has done a good work for Me. 11. For you have the poor with you always, but Me you do not have always. 12. For in pouring this fragrant oil on My body, she did it for My burial. 13. Heb 3 : 1 - 6 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

1. Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus, 2. who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house. 3. For this One has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honor than the house. 4. For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God. 5. And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward, 6. but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.

1Jn 2 : 3 - 8 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

3. Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4. He who says, “ I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. 7. Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning. 8. Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining.

Acts 12 : 12 - 17 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

12. So, when he had considered this, he came to the house of Mary, the mother of John whose surname was Mark, where many were gathered together praying. 13. And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a girl named Rhoda came to answer. 14. When she recognized Peter's voice, because of her gladness she did not open the gate, but ran in and announced that Peter stood before the gate. 15. But they said to her, “You are beside yourself!” Yet she kept insisting that it was so. So they said, “It is his angel.” 16. Now Peter continued knocking; and when they opened the door and saw him, they were astonished. 17. But motioning to them with his hand to keep silent, he declared to them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, “Go, tell these things to James and to the brethren.” And he departed and went to another place.

1. And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, 2. and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites. 3. So He said, “Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all; 4. for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God, but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had.” 5. Then, as some spoke of the temple, how it was adorned with beautiful stones and donations, He said, 6. “These things which you see—the days will come in which not one stone shall be left upon another that shall not be thrown down.” ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

1. And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. 2. Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying: 3. “Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4. Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted. 5. Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth. 6. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. 7. Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy. 8. Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God. 9. Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God. 10. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11. “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. 13. “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. 14. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16. 1Cor 6 : 1 - 8 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

1. Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints? 2. Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3. Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life? 4. If then you have judgments concerning things pertaining to this life, do you appoint those who are least esteemed by the church to judge? 5. I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you, not even one, who will be able to judge between his brethren? 6. But brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers! 7. Now therefore, it is already an utter failure for you that you go to law against one another. Why do you not rather accept wrong? Why do you not rather let yourselves be cheated? 8. No, you yourselves do wrong and cheat, and you do these things to your brethren!

1Pet 3 : 8 - 14 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

8. Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; 9. not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing. 10. For “He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit. 11. Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it. 12. For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil.” 13. And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? 14. But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.”

1. There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment, 2. a devout man and one who feared God with all his household, who gave alms generously to the people, and prayed to God always. 3. About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God coming in and saying to him, “Cornelius!” 4. And when he observed him, he was afraid, and said, “What is it, lord?” So he said to him, “Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God. 5. Now send men to Joppa, and send for Simon whose surname is Peter. 6. He is lodging with Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the sea. He will tell you what you must do.” 7. And when the angel who spoke to him had departed, Cornelius called two of his household servants and a devout soldier from among those who waited on him continually. 8. So when he had explained all these things to them, he sent them to Joppa.

Mt 10 : 23 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

23. When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes. 24. “A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. 25. It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household! 26. Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known. 27. “Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. 28. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 29. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will. 30. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. 32. “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. 33. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. 34. “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. 35. For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter - in - law against her mother - in - law’; 36. and ‘a man's enemies will be those of his own household. ’ 37. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. 39. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. 40. “He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. 41. He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward. 42. And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.” The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

11. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. 12. All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. 13. Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14. And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power. 15. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! 16. Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” 17. But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 18. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 19. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20. For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

27. Now when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews from Asia, seeing him in the temple, stirred up the whole crowd and laid hands on him, 28. crying out, “Men of Israel, help! This is the man who teaches all men everywhere against the people, the law, and this place; and furthermore he also brought Greeks into the temple and has defiled this holy place.” 29. (For they had previously seen Trophimus the Ephesian with him in the city, whom they supposed that Paul had brought into the temple. ) 30. And all the city was disturbed; and the people ran together, seized Paul, and dragged him out of the temple; and immediately the doors were shut. 31. Now as they were seeking to kill him, news came to the commander of the garrison that all Jerusalem was in an uproar. 32. He immediately took soldiers and centurions, and ran down to them. And when they saw the commander and the soldiers, they stopped beating Paul. 33. Then the commander came near and took him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains; and he asked who he was and what he had done. 34. And some among the multitude cried one thing and some another. So when he could not ascertain the truth because of the tumult, he commanded him to be taken into the barracks.

And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.” 15. Then Peter answered and said to Him, “Explain this parable to us.” 16. So Jesus said, “Are you also still without understanding? 17. Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? 18. But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. 19. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. 20. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.” 21. Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon. The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

Mk 14 : 35 - 42 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

35. He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him. 36. And He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.” 37. Then He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Could you not watch one hour? 38. Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” 39. Again He went away and prayed, and spoke the same words. 40. And when He returned, He found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy; and they did not know what to answer Him. 41. Then He came the third time and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? It is enough! The hour has come; behold, the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners. 42. Rise, let us be going. See, My betrayer is at hand.” He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

Mk 14 : 66 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

66. Now as Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the servant girls of the high priest came. 67. And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked at him and said, “You also were with Jesus of Nazareth.” 68. But he denied it, saying, “ I neither know nor understand what you are saying.” And he went out on the porch, and a rooster crowed. 69. And the servant girl saw him again, and began to say to those who stood by, “This is one of them.” 70. But he denied it again. And a little later those who stood by said to Peter again, “Surely you are one of them; for you are a Galilean, and your speech shows it.” 71. Then he began to curse and swear, “ I do not know this Man of whom you speak!” 72. A second time the rooster crowed. Then Peter called to mind the word that Jesus had said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times.” And when he thought about it, he wept. 1Cor 2 : 1 - 7 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

1. And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. 2. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. 3. I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. 4. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5. that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. 6. However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory,

Js 3 : 13 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

13. Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14. But if you have bitter envy and self - seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16. For where envy and self - seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

31. And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness. 32. Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. 33. And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. 34. Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, 35. and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need. 36. And Joses, who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is translated Son of Encouragement), a Levite of the country of Cyprus, 37. having land, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.

Jn 6 : 5 - 14 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

5. Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?” 6. But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do. 7. Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.” 8. One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to Him, 9. “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?” 10. Then Jesus said, “Make the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. 11. And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. 12. So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.” 13. Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten. 14. Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, “This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.” Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4. who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. 6. Now if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. 7. And our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation. 8. For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life. 9. Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead,

And on some have compassion, making a distinction; 23. but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh. 24. And some among the multitude cried one thing and some another. So when he could not ascertain the truth because of the tumult, he commanded him to be taken into the barracks. 35. 14. Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them, 15. who, when they had come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit. 16. For as yet He had fallen upon none of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 17. Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. 18. And when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money, 19. saying, “Give me this power also, that anyone on whom I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit.” 20. But Peter said to him, “Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money! 21. You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God. 22. Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. 23. For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity.” 24. Then Simon answered and said, “Pray to the Lord for me, that none of the things which you have spoken may come upon me.” 25. So when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, preaching the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.

Rom 10 : 1 - 13 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

1. Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. 2. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 3. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. 4. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. 5. For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, “The man who does those things shall live by them.” 6. But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down from above) 7. or, “‘Who will descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8. But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9. that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”

1Pet 2 : 20 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

20. For what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God. 21. For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: 22. “Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth”; 23. who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; 24. who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. 25. For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

6. Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” 9. Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11. who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

No one comes to the Father except through Me. 7. “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” 8. Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” 9. Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10. Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. 11. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. 12. “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.
