Ps 11 : 3 - 4 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]For the things You created, they destroyed. But what did the righteous man do? The Lord is in His holy temple.
ወንጌል Gospel
Jn 12 : 42 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]42. Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; 43. for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. Jesus’ Words: From the Father 44. Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. 45. And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. 46. I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. 47. And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48. He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. 49. For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. 50. And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.” Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
Heb 11 : 21 - 31 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]21. By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff. 22. By faith Joseph, when he was dying, made mention of the departure of the children of Israel, and gave instructions concerning his bones. 23. By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king's command. 24. By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, 25. choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, 26. esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward. 27. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible. 28. By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the firstborn should touch them. 29. By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, whereas the Egyptians, attempting to do so, were drowned. 30. By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days. 31. By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace.

1Pet 4 : 7 - 11 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]7. But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. 8. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” 9. Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. 10. As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Acts 7 : 9 - 22 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]9. “And the patriarchs, becoming envious, sold Joseph into Egypt. But God was with him 10. and delivered him out of all his troubles, and gave him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house. 11. Now a famine and great trouble came over all the land of Egypt and Canaan, and our fathers found no sustenance. 12. But when Jacob heard that there was grain in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first. 13. And the second time Joseph was made known to his brothers, and Joseph's family became known to the Pharaoh. 14. Then Joseph sent and called his father Jacob and all his relatives to him, seventy - five people. 15. So Jacob went down to Egypt; and he died, he and our fathers. 16. And they were carried back to Shechem and laid in the tomb that Abraham bought for a sum of money from the sons of Hamor, the father of Shechem. 17. “But when the time of the promise drew near which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt 18. till another king arose who did not know Joseph. 19. This man dealt treacherously with our people, and oppressed our forefathers, making them expose their babies, so that they might not live. 20. At this time Moses was born, and was well pleasing to God; and he was brought up in his father's house for three months. 21. But when he was set out, Pharaoh's daughter took him away and brought him up as her own son. 22. And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and deeds.

Mt 24 : 45 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]45. “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? 46. Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. 47. Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. 48. But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming, ’ 49. and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, 50. the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, 51. and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. Ps 94 : 10 - 13 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]He who teaches man knowledge? The Lord knows the thoughts of men are vain. Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O Lord, And whom You teach from Your law.
ወንጌል Gospel
Mt 4 : 17 - 22 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]17. From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” 18. And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. 19. Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” 20. They immediately left their nets and followed Him. 21. Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. He called them, 22. and immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him. The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

Ps 132 : 15 - 16 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]Blessing, I shall bless her provision; I shall satisfy her poor with bread; And I shall clothe her priests with salvation, And her saints shall rejoice exceedingly with great joy.
ወንጌል Gospel
Jn 10 : 34 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]34. Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘ I said, “You are gods” ’? 35. If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), 36. do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming, ’ because I said, ‘ I am the Son of God’? 37. If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; 38. but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.” 39. Therefore they sought again to seize Him, but He escaped out of their hand. 40. And He went away again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was baptizing at first, and there He stayed. 41. Then many came to Him and said, “John performed no sign, but all the things that John spoke about this Man were true.” 42. And many believed in Him there. Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
1Cor 14 : 29 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]29. Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge. 30. But if anything is revealed to another who sits by, let the first keep silent. 31. For you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be encouraged. 32. And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. 33. For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. 34. Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. 35. And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church. 36. Or did the word of God come originally from you? Or was it you only that it reached? 37. If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things which I write to you are the commandments of the Lord. 38. But if anyone is ignorant, let him be ignorant. 39. Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues. 40. Let all things be done decently and in order.
ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle
Js 5 : 12 - 16 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]12. But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your “Yes” be “Yes,” and your “No,” “No,” lest you fall into judgment. 13. Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. 14. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

And as John was finishing his course, he said, ‘Who do you think I am? I am not He. But behold, there comes One after me, the sandals of whose feet I am not worthy to loose. ’ 26. “Men and brethren, sons of the family of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, to you the word of this salvation has been sent. 27. For those who dwell in Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they did not know Him, nor even the voices of the Prophets which are read every Sabbath, have fulfilled them in condemning Him. 28. And though they found no cause for death in Him, they asked Pilate that He should be put to death. 29. Now when they had fulfilled all that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the tree and laid Him in a tomb. 30. But God raised Him from the dead. 31. He was seen for many days by those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are His witnesses to the people.

Ps 84 : 4 - 5 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; They shall praise You unto ages of ages. Blessed is the man whose help is from You, O Lord.
ወንጌል Gospel
Lk 7 : 24 - 35 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]24. When the messengers of John had departed, He began to speak to the multitudes concerning John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind? 25. But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft garments? Indeed those who are gorgeously appareled and live in luxury are in kings’ courts. 26. But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet. 27. This is he of whom it is written: ‘Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, Who will prepare Your way before You. ’ 28. For I say to you, among those born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.” 29. And when all the people heard Him, even the tax collectors justified God, having been baptized with the baptism of John. 30. But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the will of God for themselves, not having been baptized by him. 31. And the Lord said, “To what then shall I liken the men of this generation, and what are they like? 32. They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling to one another, saying: ‘We played the flute for you, And you did not dance; We mourned to you, And you did not weep. ’ 33. For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon. ’ 34. The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners! ’ 35. But wisdom is justified by all her children.” ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

ወንጌል Gospel
Lk 12 : 49 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]49. “ I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! 50. But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am till it is accomplished! 51. Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division. 52. For from now on five in one house will be divided: three against two, and two against three. 53. Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother - in - law against her daughter - in - law and daughter - in - law against her mother - in - law.” 54. Then He also said to the multitudes, “Whenever you see a cloud rising out of the west, immediately you say, ‘A shower is coming’; and so it is. 55. And when you see the south wind blow, you say, ‘There will be hot weather’; and there is. 56. Hypocrites! You can discern the face of the sky and of the earth, but how is it you do not discern this time? 57. “Yes, and why, even of yourselves, do you not judge what is right? 58. When you go with your adversary to the magistrate, make every effort along the way to settle with him, lest he drag you to the judge, the judge deliver you to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison. 59. I tell you, you shall not depart from there till you have paid the very last mite.” ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

ወንጌል Gospel
Mt 9 : 18 - 27 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]18. While He spoke these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped Him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live.” 19. So Jesus arose and followed him, and so did His disciples. 20. And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment. 21. For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” 22. But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour. 23. When Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd wailing, 24. He said to them, “Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping.” And they ridiculed Him. 25. But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. 26. And the report of this went out into all that land. 27. When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

Heb 13 : 14 - 19 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]14. For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come. 15. Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. 16. But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. 17. Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. 18. Pray for us; for we are confident that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably. 19. But I especially urge you to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

1Pet 3 : 1 - 6 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, 2. when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear. 3. Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— 4. rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. 5. For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands, 6. as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror.

Acts 20 : 16 - 24 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]16. For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus, so that he would not have to spend time in Asia; for he was hurrying to be at Jerusalem, if possible, on the Day of Pentecost. 17. From Miletus he sent to Ephesus and called for the elders of the church. 18. And when they had come to him, he said to them: “You know, from the first day that I came to Asia, in what manner I always lived among you, 19. serving the Lord with all humility, with many tears and trials which happened to me by the plotting of the Jews; 20. how I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house, 21. testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. 22. And see, now I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there, 23. except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me. 24. But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

Ps 118 : 19 - 20 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]Open the gates of righteousness to me; I will enter therein and give thanks to the Lord. This is the gate of the Lord; The righteous shall go in through it.
ወንጌል Gospel
Lk 7 : 37 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]37. And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, 38. and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil. 39. Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, “This Man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner.” 40. And Jesus answered and said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.” So he said, “Teacher, say it.” 41. “There was a certain creditor who had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. 42. And when they had nothing with which to repay, he freely forgave them both. Tell Me, therefore, which of them will love him more?” 43. Simon answered and said, “ I suppose the one whom he forgave more.” And He said to him, “You have rightly judged.” 44. Then He turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head. 45. You gave Me no kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet since the time I came in. 46. You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil. 47. Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” 48. Then He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” 49. And those who sat at the table with Him began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?” 50. Then He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.” ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are. 18. Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. 19. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”; 20. and again, “The LORD knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” 21. Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours: 22. whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come—all are yours. 23. And you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.

He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. 7. Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning. 8. Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining. 9. He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. 10. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. 11. But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

But when Herod had searched for him and not found him, he examined the guards and commanded that they should be put to death. And he went down from Judea to Caesarea, and stayed there. 20. Now Herod had been very angry with the people of Tyre and Sidon; but they came to him with one accord, and having made Blastus the king's personal aide their friend, they asked for peace, because their country was supplied with food by the king's country. 21. So on a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat on his throne and gave an oration to them. 22. And the people kept shouting, “The voice of a god and not of a man!” 23. Then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give glory to God. And he was eaten by worms and died. 24. But the word of God grew and multiplied. 25. And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem when they had fulfilled their ministry, and they also took with them John whose surname was Mark.

Mk 3 : 1 - 6 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. And He entered the synagogue again, and a man was there who had a withered hand. 2. So they watched Him closely, whether He would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse Him. 3. And He said to the man who had the withered hand, “Step forward.” 4. Then He said to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they kept silent. 5. And when He had looked around at them with anger, being grieved by the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored as whole as the other. a 6. Then the Pharisees went out and immediately plotted with the Herodians against Him, how they might destroy Him. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

ወንጌል Gospel
Jn 5 : 10 - 18 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]10. The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.” 11. He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk.’” 12. Then they asked him, “Who is the Man who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk’?” 13. But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. 14. Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.” 15. The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. 16. For this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill Him, because He had done these things on the Sabbath. 17. But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.” 18. Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God. Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

Lk 21 : 20 - 24 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]20. “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. 22. For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. 24. And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

2Cor 5 : 1 - 10 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven, 3. if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked. 4. For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life. 5. Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. 6. So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. 7. For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. 9. Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. 10. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

1Jn 3 : 1 - 10 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. 4. Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 5. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. 7. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. 10. In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.

So the keeper of the prison reported these words to Paul, saying, “The magistrates have sent to let you go. Now therefore depart, and go in peace.” 37. But Paul said to them, “They have beaten us openly, uncondemned Romans, and have thrown us into prison. And now do they put us out secretly? No indeed! Let them come themselves and get us out.” 38. And the officers told these words to the magistrates, and they were afraid when they heard that they were Romans. 39. Then they came and pleaded with them and brought them out, and asked them to depart from the city. 40. So they went out of the prison and entered the house of Lydia; and when they had seen the brethren, they encouraged them and departed.

Js 1 : 12 - 18 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]12. Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13. Let no one say when he is tempted, “ I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full - grown, brings forth death. 16. Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. 17. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. 18. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

For why is my liberty judged by another man's conscience? 30. But if I partake with thanks, why am I evil spoken of for the food over which I give thanks? 31. Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 32. 1Jn 2 : 20 - 29 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]20. But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. 21. I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth. 22. Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. 23. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also. 24. Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father. 25. And this is the promise that He has promised us—eternal life. 26. These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. 27. But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. 28. And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. 29. If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.

And we are witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they killed by hanging on a tree. 40. Him God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly, 41. not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen before by God, even to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead. 42. And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead. 43. To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.” 44. While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word. 45. And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. 46. For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. Then Peter answered, 47. “Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?” 48. And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then they asked him to stay a few days.

This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. 14. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 15. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. 17. These things I command you, that you love one another. 18. “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. 19. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.
