Ps 103 : 20 - 21 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]Bless the Lord, all you His angels, Mighty in strength, who do His word, So as to hear the voice of His words.
ወንጌል Gospel
Mt 26 : 51 - 56 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]51. And suddenly, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand and drew his sword, struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear. 52. But Jesus said to him, “Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword. 53. Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels? 54. How then could the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen thus?” 55. In that hour Jesus said to the multitudes, “Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to take Me? I sat daily with you, teaching in the temple, and you did not seize Me. 56. But all this was done that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples forsook Him and fled. The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
1Cor 15 : 19 - 28 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]19. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable. 20. But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23. But each one in his own order: Christ the first fruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming. 24. Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25. For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. 27. For “He has put all things under His feet.” But when He says “all things are put under Him,” it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. 28. Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.

1Jn 4 : 3 - 9 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]3. and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. 4. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5. They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. 6. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. 7. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
ግብረ ሃዋርያት Acts
Acts 15 : 4 - 12 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]4. And when they had come to Jerusalem, they were received by the church and the apostles and the elders; and they reported all things that God had done with them. 5. But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, “It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.” 6. Now the apostles and elders came together to consider this matter. 7. And when there had been much dispute, Peter rose up and said to them: “Men and brethren, you know that a good while ago God chose among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe. 8. So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us, 9. and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. 10. Now therefore, why do you test God by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? 11. But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved in the same manner as they.” 12. Then all the multitude kept silent and listened to Barnabas and Paul declaring how many miracles and wonders God had worked through them among the Gentiles.

Lk 21 : 12 - 19 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]12. But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name's sake. 13. But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony. 14. Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer; 15. for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist. 16. You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. 17. And you will be hated by all for My name's sake. 18. But not a hair of your head shall be lost. 19. By your patience possess your souls. ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

Lk 19 : 20 - 27 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]20. “Then another came, saying, ‘Master, here is your mina, which I have kept put away in a handkerchief. 21. For I feared you, because you are an austere man. You collect what you did not deposit, and reap what you did not sow. ’ 22. And he said to him, ‘Out of your own mouth I will judge you, you wicked servant. You knew that I was an austere man, collecting what I did not deposit and reaping what I did not sow. 23. (But they said to him, ‘Master, he has ten minas. ’) 26. ‘For I say to you, that to everyone who has will be given; and from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. 27. But bring here those enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, and slay them before me.’” ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

Mt 25 : 24 - 30 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]24. “Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25. So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. 28. መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
2Cor 3 : 12 - 18 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]12. Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech— 13. unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away. 14. But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. 15. But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. 16. Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Js 3 : 13 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]13. Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14. But if you have bitter envy and self - seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16. For where envy and self - seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Acts 20 : 16 - 21 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]16. For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus, so that he would not have to spend time in Asia; for he was hurrying to be at Jerusalem, if possible, on the Day of Pentecost. 17. From Miletus he sent to Ephesus and called for the elders of the church. 18. And when they had come to him, he said to them: “You know, from the first day that I came to Asia, in what manner I always lived among you, 19. serving the Lord with all humility, with many tears and trials which happened to me by the plotting of the Jews; 20. how I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house, 21. testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

ወንጌል Gospel
Mt 27 : 3 - 10 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]3. Then Judas, His betrayer, seeing that He had been condemned, was remorseful and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, 4. saying, “ I have sinned by betraying innocent blood.” And they said, “What is that to us? You see to it!” 5. Then he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself. 6. But the chief priests took the silver pieces and said, “It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, because they are the price of blood.” 7. And they consulted together and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in. 8. Therefore that field has been called the Field of Blood to this day. 9. Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying, “And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the value of Him who was priced, whom they of the children of Israel priced, 10. and gave them for the potter's field, as the LORD directed me.” The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

Lk 23 : 50 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]50. Now behold, there was a man named Joseph, a council member, a good and just man. 51. He had not consented to their decision and deed. He was from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, who himself was also waiting for the kingdom of God. 52. This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. 53. Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a tomb that was hewn out of the rock, where no one had ever lain before. 54. That day was the Preparation, and the Sabbath drew near. 55. And the women who had come with Him from Galilee followed after, and they observed the tomb and how His body was laid. 56. Then they returned and prepared spices and fragrant oils. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment. ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

ወንጌል Gospel
Jn 19 : 25 - 37 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]25. Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26. When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!” 27. Then He said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home. 28. After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “ I thirst!” 29. Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth. 30. So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. 31. Therefore, because it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. 32. Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with Him. 33. But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs. 34. But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out. 35. And he who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you may believe. 36. For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled, “Not one of His bones shall be broken.” 37. And again another Scripture says, “They shall look on Him whom they pierced.” Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
Heb 2 : 9 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]9. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone. 10. For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. 11. For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, 12. saying: “ I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You.” 13. And again: “ I will put My trust in Him.” And again: “Here am I and the children whom God has given Me.” 14. Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 15. and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16. For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham. 17. Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. 18. For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.

2Jn 1 : 4 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]4. I rejoiced greatly that I have found some of your children walking in truth, as we received commandment from the Father. 5. And now I plead with you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but that which we have had from the beginning: that we love one another. 6. This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it. 7. For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 8. Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward. 9. Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 10. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; 11. for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds. 12. Having many things to write to you, I did not wish to do so with paper and ink; but I hope to come to you and speak face to face, that our joy may be full. 13. The children of your elect sister greet you. Amen.

Acts 17 : 30 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]30. Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, 31. because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.” 32. And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked, while others said, “We will hear you again on this matter.” 33. So Paul departed from among them. 34. However, some men joined him and believed, among them Dionysius the Areopagite, a woman named Damaris, and others with them.

Mk 15 : 37 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]37. And Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last. 38. Then the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. 39. There were also women looking on from afar, among whom were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the Less and of Joses, and Salome, 41. who also followed Him and ministered to Him when He was in Galilee, and many other women who came up with Him to Jerusalem. 42. Now when evening had come, because it was the Preparation Day, that is, the day before the Sabbath, 43. Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent council member, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, coming and taking courage, went in to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. 44. Pilate marveled that He was already dead; and summoning the centurion, he asked him if He had been dead for some time. 45. So when he found out from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph. 46. Then he bought fine linen, took Him down, and wrapped Him in the linen. And he laid Him in a tomb which had been hewn out of the rock, and rolled a stone against the door of the tomb. 47. And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses observed where He was laid. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

1Tim 1 : 1 - 11 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the commandment of God our Savior and the Lord Jesus Christ, our hope, 2. To Timothy, a true son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord. 3. As I urged you when I went into Macedonia—remain in Ephesus that you may charge some that they teach no other doctrine, 4. nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith. 5. Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, 6. from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk, 7. desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm. 8. But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, 9. knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10. for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, 11. according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust.

1Jn 2 : 22 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]22. Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. 23. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also. 24. Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father. 25. And this is the promise that He has promised us—eternal life. 26. These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. 27. But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. 28. And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. 29. If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.

Acts 13 : 46 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]46. Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, “It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles. 47. For so the Lord has commanded us: ‘ I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’” 48. Now when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord. And as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed. 49. And the word of the Lord was being spread throughout all the region. 50. But the Jews stirred up the devout and prominent women and the chief men of the city, raised up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their region. 51. But they shook off the dust from their feet against them, and came to Iconium. 52. And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.

ወንጌል Gospel
Lk 17 : 1 - 10 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! 2. It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. 3. Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. 4. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘ I repent, ’ you shall forgive him.” 5. And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.” 6. So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘ Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea, ’ and it would obey you. 7. And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’? 8. But will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink’? 9. Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not. 10. So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, ‘We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.’” ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

ወንጌል Gospel
Lk 12 : 1 - 12 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. In the meantime, when an innumerable multitude of people had gathered together, so that they trampled one another, He began to say to His disciples first of all, “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. 2. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. 3. Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops. 4. “And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 5. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him! 6. “Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. 7. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. 8. “Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God. 9. But he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God. 10. “And anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but to him who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven. 11. “Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. 12. For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.” ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

Col 1 : 17 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]17. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. 19. For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20. and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. 21. And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22. in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— 23. if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister. 24. I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church, 25. of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God, 26. the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. 27. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. 28. Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. 29. To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4. to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5. who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 7. that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, 8. whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9. receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.

Now when there arose a great dissension, the commander, fearing lest Paul might be pulled to pieces by them, commanded the soldiers to go down and take him by force from among them, and bring him into the barracks. 11. But the following night the Lord stood by him and said, “Be of good cheer, Paul; for as you have testified for Me in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness at Rome.” 12. And when it was day, some of the Jews banded together and bound themselves under an oath, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul. 13. Now there were more than forty who had formed this conspiracy. 14. They came to the chief priests and elders, and said, “We have bound ourselves under a great oath that we will eat nothing until we have killed Paul. 15. Now you, therefore, together with the council, suggest to the commander that he be brought down to you tomorrow, as though you were going to make further inquiries concerning him; but we are ready to kill him before he comes near.”

Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. 3. And they said among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?” 4. But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away—for it was very large. 5. And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed. 6. But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. 7. But go, tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.” 8. So they went out quickly and fled from the tomb, for they trembled and were amazed. And they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

Heb 10 : 23 - 31 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]23. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25. not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. 26. For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27. but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 28. Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30. For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The LORD will judge His people.” 31. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. 28. But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.” 29. Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. 30. And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31. So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” 32. Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. 33. And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized. 34. Now when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, having believed in God with all his household. 35. And when it was day, the magistrates sent the officers, saying, “Let those men go.” 36. So the keeper of the prison reported these words to Paul, saying, “The magistrates have sent to let you go. Now therefore depart, and go in peace.” 37. But Paul said to them, “They have beaten us openly, uncondemned Romans, and have thrown us into prison. And now do they put us out secretly? No indeed! Let them come themselves and get us out.” 38. And the officers told these words to the magistrates, and they were afraid when they heard that they were Romans. 39. Then they came and pleaded with them and brought them out, and asked them to depart from the city. 40. So they went out of the prison and entered the house of Lydia; and when they had seen the brethren, they encouraged them and departed.

Then they went out to see what had happened, and came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid. 36. They also who had seen it told them by what means he who had been demon - possessed was healed. 37. Then the whole multitude of the surrounding region of the Gadarenes asked Him to depart from them, for they were seized with great fear. And He got into the boat and returned. 38. Now the man from whom the demons had departed begged Him that he might be with Him. But Jesus sent him away, saying, 39. “Return to your own house, and tell what great things God has done for you.” And he went his way and proclaimed throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him. 40. 1Cor 10 : 12 - 21 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]12. Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. 13. No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 14. Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. 15. I speak as to wise men; judge for yourselves what I say. 16. The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? 17. For we, though many, are one bread and one body; for we all partake of that one bread. 18. Observe Israel after the flesh: Are not those who eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar? 19. What am I saying then? That an idol is anything, or what is offered to idols is anything? 20. Rather, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons. 21. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord's table and of the table of demons.

1Jn 4 : 3 - 13 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]3. and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. 10. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. 13. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.

So when he had arrested him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to keep him, intending to bring him before the people after Passover. 5. Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church. 6. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men—extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. 12. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess. ’ 13. And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner! ’ 14. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” 15. Then they also brought infants to Him that He might touch them; but when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. 16. But Jesus called them to Him and said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. 5. Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, 7. in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them. 8. But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. 9. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, 10. and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, 11. where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all.
ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle
1Pet 3 : 15 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]15. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; 16. having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. 17. For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. 18. For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, 19. by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison, 20. who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water. 21. There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22. who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.
ግብረ ሃዋርያት Acts
Acts 13 : 26 - 42 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]26. “Men and brethren, sons of the family of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, to you the word of this salvation has been sent. 27. For those who dwell in Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they did not know Him, nor even the voices of the Prophets which are read every Sabbath, have fulfilled them in condemning Him. 28. And though they found no cause for death in Him, they asked Pilate that He should be put to death. 29. Now when they had fulfilled all that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the tree and laid Him in a tomb. 30. But God raised Him from the dead. 31. He was seen for many days by those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are His witnesses to the people. 32. And we declare to you glad tidings—that promise which was made to the fathers. 33. God has fulfilled this for us their children, in that He has raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second Psalm: ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. ’ 34. And that He raised Him from the dead, no more to return to corruption, He has spoken thus: ‘ I will give you the sure mercies of David. ’ 35. Therefore He also says in another Psalm: ‘You will not allow Your Holy One to see corruption. ’ 36. “For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption; 37. but He whom God raised up saw no corruption. 38. Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; 39. and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. 40. Beware therefore, lest what has been spoken in the prophets come upon you: 41. ‘Behold, you despisers, Marvel and perish! For I work a work in your days, A work which you will by no means believe, Though one were to declare it to you.’” 42. So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.
መዝሙር Psalm
Ps 3 : 5 - 6 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord will help me. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who set themselves against me all around.
ወንጌል Gospel
Lk 24 : 33 - 40 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]33. So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together, 34. saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” 35. And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread. 36. Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, “Peace to you.” 37. But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit. 38. And He said to them, “Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? 39. Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.” 40. When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.
