Ps 11 : 6 - 7 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]Fire and brimstone and a raging wind shall be the portion of their cup. The righteous Lord loves righteousness; His face beholds the upright.
ወንጌል Gospel
Mt 24 : 1 - 10 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. 2. And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” 3. Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” 4. And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘ I am the Christ, ’ and will deceive many. 6. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8. All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9. “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. 10. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
Rom 7 : 7 - 13 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]7. What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.” 8. But sin, taking opportunity by the commandment, produced in me all manner of evil desire. For apart from the law sin was dead. 9. I was alive once without the law, but when the commandment came, sin revived and I died. 10. And the commandment, which was to bring life, I found to bring death. 11. For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it killed me. 12. Therefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good. 13. Has then what is good become death to me? Certainly not! But sin, that it might appear sin, was producing death in me through what is good, so that sin through the commandment might become exceedingly sinful.
ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle
1Jn 2 : 14 - 19 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]14. I have written to you, fathers, Because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, Because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, And you have overcome the wicked one. 15. Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. 18. Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. 19. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.
ግብረ ሃዋርያት Acts
Acts 5 : 17 - 25 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]17. Then the high priest rose up, and all those who were with him (which is the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled with indignation, 18. and laid their hands on the apostles and put them in the common prison. 19. But at night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said, 20. “Go, stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this life.” 21. And when they heard that, they entered the temple early in the morning and taught. But the high priest and those with him came and called the council together, with all the elders of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought. 22. But when the officers came and did not find them in the prison, they returned and reported, 23. saying, “Indeed we found the prison shut securely, and the guards standing outside before the doors; but when we opened them, we found no one inside!” 24. Now when the high priest, the captain of the temple, and the chief priests heard these things, they wondered what the outcome would be. 25. So one came and told them, saying, a “Look, the men whom you put in prison are standing in the temple and teaching the people!”

Ps 33 : 8 - 9 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]Let all the earth fear the Lord, And let all the world's inhabitants be shaken by Him; For He spoke, and they were made; He commanded, and they were created.
ወንጌል Gospel
Lk 17 : 28 - 34 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]28. Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29. but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. 31. “In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his goods are in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise the one who is in the field, let him not turn back. 32. Remember Lot's wife. 33. Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. 34. I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left. ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

Ps 146 : 8 - 9 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]The Lord restores those broken down. The Lord gives wisdom to the blind. The Lord loves the righteous. The Lord keeps watch over resident aliens.
ወንጌል Gospel
Mt 9 : 27 - 34 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]27. When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” 28. And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” 29. Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” 30. And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows it.” 31. But when they had departed, they spread the news about Him in all that country. 32. As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a man, mute and demon - possessed. 33. And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the multitudes marveled, saying, “It was never seen like this in Israel!” 34. But the Pharisees said, “He casts out demons by the ruler of the demons.” The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

Ps 57 : 1 - 2 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me, For my soul trusts in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will hope, Until lawlessness shall pass away.
ወንጌል Gospel
Mt 17 : 14 - 21 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]14. And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, 15. “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. 16. So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.” 17. Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” 18. And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour. 19. Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” 20. So Jesus said to them, “ Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there, ’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. 21. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
Rom 2 : 1 - 11 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. 2. But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things. 3. And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God? 4. Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? 5. But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6. who “will render to each one according to his deeds” : 7. eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; 8. but to those who are self - seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, 9. tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; 10. but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 11. For there is no partiality with God.
ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle
1Jn 3 : 19 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]19. And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. 20. For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. 21. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. 22. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. 23. And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment. 24. Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
ግብረ ሃዋርያት Acts
Acts 1 : 15 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]15. And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples (altogether the number of names was about a hundred and twenty), and said, 16. “Men and brethren, this Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus; 17. for he was numbered with us and obtained a part in this ministry.” 18. (Now this man purchased a field with the wages of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out. 19. And it became known to all those dwelling in Jerusalem; so that field is called in their own language, Akel Dama, that is, Field of Blood. ) 20. “For it is written in the Book of Psalms: ‘Let his dwelling place be desolate, And let no one live in it’; and, ‘Let another take his office. ’ 21. “Therefore, of these men who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, 22. beginning from the baptism of John to that day when He was taken up from us, one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection.” 23. And they proposed two: Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias. 24. And they prayed and said, “You, O Lord, who know the hearts of all, show which of these two You have chosen 25. to take part in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.” 26. And they cast their lots, and the lot fell on Matthias. And he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

Ps 27 : 1 - 2 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]The Lord is my light and my savior; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defender of my life; whom shall I dread? When the wicked drew near against me to eat up my flesh, Those who afflict me and are my enemies, they weakened and fell.
ወንጌል Gospel
Mt 10 : 28 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]28. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 29. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will. 30. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. 32. “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. 33. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. 34. “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. 35. For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter - in - law against her mother - in - law’; 36. and ‘a man's enemies will be those of his own household. ’ 37. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. 39. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. 40. “He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. 41. He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward. 42. And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.” The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

ወንጌል Gospel
Mt 9 : 10 - 17 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]10. Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples. 11. And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” 12. When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 13. But go and learn what this means: ‘ I desire mercy and not sacrifice. ’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” 14. Then the disciples of John came to Him, saying, “Why do we and the Pharisees fast often, but Your disciples do not fast?” 15. And Jesus said to them, “Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast. 16. No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment, and the tear is made worse. 17. Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.” The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
Gal 1 : 1 - 10 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead), 2. and all the brethren who are with me, To the churches of Galatia: 3. Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, 4. who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, 5. to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. 6. I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7. which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. 10. For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.

2Pet 3 : 10 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]10. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. 11. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12. looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13. Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. 14. Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; 15. and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, 16. as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures. 17. You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; 18. but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

Acts 13 : 6 - 12 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]6. Now when they had gone through the island to Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew whose name was Bar - Jesus, 7. who was with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, an intelligent man. This man called for Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the word of God. 8. But Elymas the sorcerer (for so his name is translated) withstood them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith. 9. Then Saul, who also is called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him 10. and said, “O full of all deceit and all fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord? 11. And now, indeed, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time.” And immediately a dark mist fell on him, and he went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand. 12. Then the proconsul believed, when he saw what had been done, being astonished at the teaching of the Lord.

And a great multitude of the people followed Him, and women who also mourned and lamented Him. 28. But Jesus, turning to them, said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. 29. For indeed the days are coming in which they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, wombs that never bore, and breasts which never nursed! ’ 30. Then they will begin ‘to say to the mountains, “Fall on us!” and to the hills, “Cover us!” ’ 31. For if they do these things in the green wood, what will be done in the dry?” 32. ወንጌል Gospel
Mt 27 : 31 - 45 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]31. And when they had mocked Him, they took the robe off Him, put His own clothes on Him, and led Him away to be crucified. 32. Now as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name. Him they compelled to bear His cross. 33. And when they had come to a place called Golgotha, that is to say, Place of a Skull, 34. they gave Him sour wine mingled with gall to drink. But when He had tasted it, He would not drink. 35. Then they crucified Him, and divided His garments, casting lots, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet: “They divided My garments among them, And for My clothing they cast lots.” 36. Sitting down, they kept watch over Him there. 37. And they put up over His head the accusation written against Him: 38. Then two robbers were crucified with Him, one on the right and another on the left. 39. And those who passed by blasphemed Him, wagging their heads 40. and saying, “You who destroy the temple and build it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross.” 41. Likewise the chief priests also, mocking with the scribes and elders, said, 42. “He saved others; Himself He cannot save. If He is the King of Israel, let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe Him. 43. He trusted in God; let Him deliver Him now if He will have Him; for He said, ‘ I am the Son of God.’” 44. Even the robbers who were crucified with Him reviled Him with the same thing. 45. Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land. The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
1Cor 1 : 17 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]17. For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect. 18. For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19. For it is written: “ I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.” 20. Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21. For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. 22. For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; 23. but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, 24. but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 26. For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. 27. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28. and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29. that no flesh should glory in His presence. 30. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— 31. that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the LORD.”

1Pet 2 : 20 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]20. For what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God. 21. For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: 22. “Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth”; 23. who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; 24. who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. 25. For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

Acts 13 : 27 - 31 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]27. For those who dwell in Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they did not know Him, nor even the voices of the Prophets which are read every Sabbath, have fulfilled them in condemning Him. 28. And though they found no cause for death in Him, they asked Pilate that He should be put to death. 29. Now when they had fulfilled all that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the tree and laid Him in a tomb. 30. But God raised Him from the dead. 31. He was seen for many days by those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are His witnesses to the people.

Jn 19 : 17 - 24 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]17. And He, bearing His cross, went out to a place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha, 18. where they crucified Him, and two others with Him, one on either side, and Jesus in the center. 19. Now Pilate wrote a title and put it on the cross. And the writing was: 20. Then many of the Jews read this title, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city; and it was written in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin. 21. Therefore the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, “Do not write, ‘ The King of the Jews, ’ but, ‘He said, “ I am the King of the Jews.” 22. Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.” 23. Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took His garments and made four parts, to each soldier a part, and also the tunic. Now the tunic was without seam, woven from the top in one piece. 24. They said therefore among themselves, “Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be,” that the Scripture might be fulfilled which says: “They divided My garments among them, And for My clothing they cast lots.” Therefore the soldiers did these things. Titus 1 : 1 - 5 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness, 2. in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began, 3. but has in due time manifested His word through preaching, which was committed to me according to the commandment of God our Savior; 4. To Titus, a true son in our common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior. 5. For this reason I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking, and appoint elders in every city as I commanded you—

Js 2 : 8 - 17 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]8. If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well; 9. but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors. 10. For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. 11. For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. 12. So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty. 13. For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment. 14. What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15. If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16. and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17. Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Acts 19 : 11 - 20 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]11. Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, 12. so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them. 13. Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.” 14. Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so. 15. And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?” 16. Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. 17. This became known both to all Jews and Greeks dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. 18. And many who had believed came confessing and telling their deeds. 19. Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted up the value of them, and it totaled fifty thousand pieces of silver. 20. So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.

So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” 7. They said to Him, “Why then did Moses command to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?” 8. He said to them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. 9. And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.” 10. His disciples said to Him, “If such is the case of the man with his wife, it is better not to marry.” 11. But He said to them, “All cannot accept this saying, but only those to whom it has been given: 12. And when Jesus saw that he became very sorrowful, He said, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God! 25. For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” 26. And those who heard it said, “Who then can be saved?” 27. But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” 28. Then Peter said, “See, we have left all and followed You.” 29. So He said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or parents or brothers or wife or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

Ps 62 : 10 - 11 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]If riches flow in, Do not set your heart on them. God spoke once; I heard these two things: That power is of God.
ወንጌል Gospel
Lk 17 : 9 - 19 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]9. Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not. 10. So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, ‘We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.’” 11. Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12. Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. 13. And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” 14. So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. 15. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16. and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan. 17. So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? 18. Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” 19. And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.” The Coming of the Kingdom ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
1Cor 4 : 1 - 9 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2. More over it is required in stewards that one be found faithful. 3. But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by a human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. 4. For I know of nothing against myself, yet I am not justified by this; but He who judges me is the Lord. 5. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one's praise will come from God. 6. Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that you may learn in us not to think beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up on behalf of one against the other. 7. For who makes you differ from another? And what do you have that you did not receive? Now if you did indeed receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it? 8. You are already full! You are already rich! You have reigned as kings without us—and indeed I could wish you did reign, that we also might reign with you! 9. For I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last, as men condemned to death; for we have been made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men.
ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle
1Pet 2 : 11 - 19 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]11. Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, 12. having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation. 13. Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake, whether to the king as supreme, 14. or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good. 15. For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men— 16. as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God. 17. Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king. 18. Servants, be submissive to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the harsh. 19. For this is commendable, if because of conscience toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully.
ግብረ ሃዋርያት Acts
Acts 16 : 9 - 18 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]9. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” 10. Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them. 11. Therefore, sailing from Troas, we ran a straight course to Samothrace, and the next day came to Neapolis, 12. and from there to Philippi, which is the foremost city of that part of Macedonia, a colony. And we were staying in that city for some days. 13. And on the Sabbath day we went out of the city to the riverside, where prayer was customarily made; and we sat down and spoke to the women who met there. 14. Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us. She was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, who worshiped God. The Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul. 15. And when she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.” So she persuaded us. 16. Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much profit by fortune-telling. 17. This girl followed Paul and us, and cried out, saying, “These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.” 18. And this she did for many days. But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “ I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And he came out that very hour.

ወንጌል Gospel
Mt 25 : 14 - 30 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]14. “For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. 15. And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. 16. Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. 17. And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. 18. But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord's money. 19. After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them. 20. “So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them. ’ 21. His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord. ’ 22. He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them. ’ 23. His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord. ’ 24. “Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25. And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours. ’ 26. “But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. 27. So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. 28. So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents. 29. ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. 30. And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. ’ The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’
