The Lord is merciful and righteous, And our God has mercy. The Lord is He who watches over children.

13. Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. 14. But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. 15. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” 16. And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. 21. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

4. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full. 5. This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

But if you have bitter envy and self - seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16. For where envy and self - seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

31. And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness. 32. Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. 33. And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. 34. Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, 35. and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need. 36. And Joses, who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is translated Son of Encouragement), a Levite of the country of Cyprus, 37. having land, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.

5. Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?” 6. But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do. 7. Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.” 8. One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to Him, 9. “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?” 10. Then Jesus said, “Make the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. 11. And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. 12. So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.” 13. Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten. 14. Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, “This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.” Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

69. Now Peter sat outside in the courtyard. And a servant girl came to him, saying, “You also were with Jesus of Galilee.” 70. But he denied it before them all, saying, “ I do not know what you are saying.” 71. And when he had gone out to the gateway, another girl saw him and said to those who were there, “This fellow also was with Jesus of Nazareth.” 72. But again he denied with an oath, “ I do not know the Man!” 73. And a little later those who stood by came up and said to Peter, “Surely you also are one of them, for your speech betrays you.” 74. Then he began to curse and swear, saying, “ I do not know the Man!” Immediately a rooster crowed. 75. And Peter remembered the word of Jesus who had said to him, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” So he went out and wept bitterly. The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” 46. And Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” 47. Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!” 48. Nathanael said to Him, “How do You know me?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” 49. Nathanael answered and said to Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!” 50. Jesus answered and said to him, “ Because I said to you, ‘ I saw you under the fig tree, ’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.” 51. And He said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.” Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

1. Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, To the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia: 2. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4. who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. 6. Now if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. 17. But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: 18. how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. 19. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. 20. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21. keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22. And on some have compassion, making a distinction; 23. but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh. 24. Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, 25. To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.

31. Now as they were seeking to kill him, news came to the commander of the garrison that all Jerusalem was in an uproar. 32. He immediately took soldiers and centurions, and ran down to them. And when they saw the commander and the soldiers, they stopped beating Paul. 33. Then the commander came near and took him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains; and he asked who he was and what he had done. 34. And some among the multitude cried one thing and some another. So when he could not ascertain the truth because of the tumult, he commanded him to be taken into the barracks. 35. When he reached the stairs, he had to be carried by the soldiers because of the violence of the mob. 36. For the multitude of the people followed after, crying out, “Away with him!”

And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” 22. Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?” 23. Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. 24. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me. 25. “These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. 3. Peter therefore went out, and the other disciple, and were going to the tomb. 4. So they both ran together, and the other disciple outran Peter and came to the tomb first. 5. And he, stooping down and looking in, saw the linen cloths lying there; yet he did not go in. 6. Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb; and he saw the linen cloths lying there, 7. and the handkerchief that had been around His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded together in a place by itself. 8. Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed. 9. For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead. 10. Then the disciples went away again to their own homes. Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.
