For the things You created, they destroyed. But what did the righteous man do? The Lord is in His holy temple.

42. Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; 43. for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. Jesus’ Words: From the Father 44. Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. 45. And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. 46. I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. 47. And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48. He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. 49. For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. 50. And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.” Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace.

7. But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. 8. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” 9. Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. 10. As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. At this time Moses was born, and was well pleasing to God; and he was brought up in his father's house for three months. 21. But when he was set out, Pharaoh's daughter took him away and brought him up as her own son. 22. And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and deeds.

There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. 14. Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.” 15. The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. 16. For this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill Him, because He had done these things on the Sabbath. 17. But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.” 18. Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God. 20. “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. 22. For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. 24. And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven, 3. if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked. 4. For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life. 5. Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. 6. So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. 7. For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. 9. Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. 10. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

1. Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. 4. Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 5.
