Ps 37 : 4 - 5 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

Delight in the Lord, And He will give you the requests of your heart. Reveal your way to the Lord, And hope in Him; and He will do it.

ወንጌል Gospel

Mk 9 : 17 - 24 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

17. Then one of the crowd answered and said, “Teacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit. 18. And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not.” 19. He answered him and said, “O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to Me.” 20. Then they brought him to Him. And when he saw Him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth. 21. So He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “ From childhood. 22. And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.” 23. Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” 24. Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle

Heb 13 : 1 - 6 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

1. Let brotherly love continue. 2. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. 3. Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also. 4. Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge. 5. Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “ I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6. So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle

1Jn 3 : 17 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

17. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? 18. My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. 19. And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. 20. For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. 21. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. 22. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. 23. And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment. 24. Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

Acts 4 : 29 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

29. Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, 30. by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.” 31. And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness. 32. Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. 33. And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. 34. Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, 35. and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need. 36. And Joses, who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is translated Son of Encouragement), a Levite of the country of Cyprus, 37. having land, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.

Ps 112 : 9 - 10 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

He dispersed; he gave to the poor; His righteousness continues unto ages of ages; His horn shall be exalted with glory.

ወንጌል Gospel

Mk 10 : 17 - 22 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

17. Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” 18. So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. 19. You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery, ’ ‘Do not murder, ’ ‘Do not steal, ’ ‘Do not bear false witness, ’ ‘Do not defraud, ’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’” 20. And he answered and said to Him, “Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.” 21. Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.” 22. But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle

2Cor 2 : 1 - 8 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

1. But I determined this within myself, that I would not come again to you in sorrow. 2. For if I make you sorrowful, then who is he who makes me glad but the one who is made sorrowful by me? 3. And I wrote this very thing to you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow over those from whom I ought to have joy, having confidence in you all that my joy is the joy of you all. 4. For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote to you, with many tears, not that you should be grieved, but that you might know the love which I have so abundantly for you. 5. But if anyone has caused grief, he has not grieved me, but all of you to some extent—not to be too severe. 6. This punishment which was inflicted by the majority is sufficient for such a man, 7. so that, on the contrary, you ought rather to forgive and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one be swallowed up with too much sorrow. 8. Therefore I urge you to reaffirm your love to him.

Js 4 : 12 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

12. There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another? 13. Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; 14. whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. 15. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” 16. But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. 17. Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

5. So the churches were strengthened in the faith, and increased in number daily. 6. Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. 7. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. 8. So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. 9. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” 10. Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them. 11. Therefore, sailing from Troas, we ran a straight course to Samothrace, and the next day came to Neapolis,

ወንጌል Gospel

Mk 7 : 14 - 24 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

14. When He had called all the multitude to Himself, He said to them, “Hear Me, everyone, and understand: 15. There is nothing that enters a man from outside which can defile him; but the things which come out of him, those are the things that defile a man. 16. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear!” 17. When He had entered a house away from the crowd, His disciples asked Him concerning the parable. 18. So He said to them, “Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him, 19. because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purifying all foods?” 20. And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. 21. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22. thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. 23. All these evil things come from within and defile a man.” 24. From there He arose and went to the region of Tyre and Sidon. And He entered a house and wanted no one to know it, but He could not be hidden. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

31. And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. 32. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.” 33. But he said to Him, “Lord, I am ready to go with You, both to prison and to death.” 34. Then He said, “ I tell you, Peter, the rooster shall not crow this day before you will deny three times that you know Me.” 35. And He said to them, “When I sent you without money bag, knapsack, and sandals, did you lack anything?” So they said, “Nothing.” 36. Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. 37. For I say to you that this which is written must still be accomplished in Me: ‘ And He was numbered with the transgressors. ’ For the things concerning Me have an end.” 38. So they said, “Lord, look, here are two swords.” And He said to them, “It is enough.” ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

Heb 11 : 1 - 7 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. 3. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. 4. By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks. 5. By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. 7. By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle

Jude 1 : 11 - 16 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

11. Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah. 12. These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; 13. raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. 14. Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, 15. to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” 16. These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage.

Acts 17 : 14 - 23 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

14. Then immediately the brethren sent Paul away, to go to the sea; but both Silas and Timothy remained there. 15. So those who conducted Paul brought him to Athens; and receiving a command for Silas and Timothy to come to him with all speed, they departed. 16. Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him when he saw that the city was given over to idols. 17. Therefore he reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and with the Gentile worshipers, and in the marketplace daily with those who happened to be there. 18. Thena certain Epicurean and Stoic philosophers encountered him. And some said, “What does this babbler want to say?” Others said, “He seems to be a proclaimer of foreign gods,” because he preached to them Jesus and the resurrection. 19. And they took him and brought him to the Areopagus, saying, “May we know what this new doctrine is of which you speak? 20. For you are bringing some strange things to our ears. Therefore we want to know what these things mean.” 21. For all the Athenians and the foreigners who were there spent their time in nothing else but either to tell or to hear some new thing. 22. Then Paul stood in the midst of the Areopagus and said, “Men of Athens, I perceive that in all things you are very religious; 23. for as I was passing through and considering the objects of your worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: Therefore, the One whom you worship without knowing, Him I proclaim to you:

They said, “Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce, and to dismiss her.” 5. And Jesus answered and said to them, “ Because of the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept. 6. But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female. ’ 7. ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, 8. and the two shall become one flesh’; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” 10. In the house His disciples also asked Him again about the same matter. 11. So He said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her. 12. Heb 6 : 12 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

12. that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. 13. For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, 14. saying, “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.” 15. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. 16. For men indeed swear by the greater, and an oath for confirmation is for them an end of all dispute. 17. Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, 18. that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. 19. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, 20. where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle

Js 1 : 12 - 22 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

12. Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13. Let no one say when he is tempted, “ I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full - grown, brings forth death. 16. Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. 17. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. 18. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. 19. So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; 20. for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. 21. Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. 22. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

Acts 2 : 36 - 43 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

36. “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” 37. Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” 38. Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” 40. And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” 41. Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. 42. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.

ወንጌል Gospel

Mk 6 : 34 - 44 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

34. And Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So He began to teach them many things. 35. When the day was now far spent, His disciples came to Him and said, “This is a deserted place, and already the hour is late. 36. Send them away, that they may go into the surrounding country and villages and buy themselves bread; for they have nothing to eat.” 37. But He answered and said to them, “You give them something to eat.” And they said to Him, “Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give them something to eat?” 38. But He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” And when they found out they said, “Five, and two fish.” 39. Then He commanded them to make them all sit down in groups on the green grass. 40. So they sat down in ranks, in hundreds and in fifties. 41. And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all. 42. So they all ate and were filled. 43. And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments and of the fish. 44. Now those who had eaten the loaves were abouta five thousand men. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

15. Then He charged them, saying, “Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.” 16. And they reasoned among themselves, saying, “It is because we have no bread.” 17. But Jesus, being aware of it, said to them, “Why do you reason because you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive nor understand? Is your heart still hardened? 18. Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember? 19. When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments did you take up?” They said to Him, “Twelve.” 20. “Also, when I broke the seven for the four thousand, how many large baskets full of fragments did you take up?” And they said, “Seven.” 21. So He said to them, “How is it you do not understand?” A Blind Man Healed He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

Jn 16 : 25 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

25. “These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father. 26. In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you; 27. for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God. 28. I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.” 29. His disciples said to Him, “See, now You are speaking plainly, and using no figure of speech! 30. Now we are sure that You know all things, and have no need that anyone should question You. By this we believe that You came forth from God.” 31. Jesus answered them, “Do you now believe? 32. Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. 33. These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

Gal 1 : 6 - 16 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

6. I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7. which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. 10. For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ. 11. But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. 12. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ. 13. For you have heard of my former conduct in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it. 14. And I advanced in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries in my own nation, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers. 15. But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me through His grace, 16. to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood,

1Jn 1 : 1 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

1. That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life— 2. the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us— 3. that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. 4. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full. 5. This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

Acts 3 : 12 - 16 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

12. So when Peter saw it, he responded to the people: “Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? 13. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go. 14. But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, 15. and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses. 16. And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

ወንጌል Gospel

Jn 1 : 6 - 18 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

6. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. 8. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9. That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. 10. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13. who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. 15. John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’” 16. And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18. No one has seen God at any time. When they found Him, they said to Him, “Everyone is looking for You.” 38. 1Cor 11 : 2 - 12 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

2. Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you. 3. But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. 4. Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head. 5. But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved. 6. For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered. 7. For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man. 8. For man is not from woman, but woman from man. 9. Nor was man created for the woman, but woman for the man. 10. For this reason the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. 11. Nevertheless, neither is man independent of woman, nor woman independent of man, in the Lord. 12. For as woman came from man, even so man also comes through woman; but all things are from God.

1Jn 3 : 13 - 18 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

13. Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you. 14. We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death. 15. Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 16. By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? 18. My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

Rom 9 : 1 - 16 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

1. I tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit, 2. that I have great sorrow and continual grief in my heart. 3. For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh, 4. who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises; 5. of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen. 6. But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, 7. nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.” 8. That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed. 9. For this is the word of promise: “At this time I will come and Sarah shall have a son.” 10. And not only this, but when Rebecca also had conceived by one man, even by our father Isaac 11. (for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls), 12. it was said to her, “The older shall serve the younger.” 13. As it is written, “Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.” 14. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not! 15. For He says to Moses, “ I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.” 16. So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.

ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle

1Jn 2 : 12 - 19 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

12. I write to you, little children, Because your sins are forgiven you for His name's sake. 13. I write to you, fathers, Because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, Because you have overcome the wicked one. I write to you, little children, Because you have known the Father. 14. I have written to you, fathers, Because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, Because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, And you have overcome the wicked one. 15. Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. 18. Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. 19. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

ግብረ ሃዋርያት Acts

Acts 7 : 6 - 16 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

6. But God spoke in this way: that his descendants would dwell in a foreign land, and that they would bring them into bondage and oppress them four hundred years. 7. ‘ And the nation to whom they will be in bondage I will judge, ’ said God, ‘and after that they shall come out and serve Me in this place. ’ 8. Then He gave him the covenant of circumcision; and so Abraham begot Isaac and circumcised him on the eighth day; and Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot the twelve patriarchs. 9. “And the patriarchs, becoming envious, sold Joseph into Egypt. But God was with him 10. and delivered him out of all his troubles, and gave him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house. 11. Now a famine and great trouble came over all the land of Egypt and Canaan, and our fathers found no sustenance. 12. But when Jacob heard that there was grain in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first. 13. And the second time Joseph was made known to his brothers, and Joseph's family became known to the Pharaoh. 14. Then Joseph sent and called his father Jacob and all his relatives to him, seventy-five people. 15. So Jacob went down to Egypt; and he died, he and our fathers. 16. And they were carried back to Shechem and laid in the tomb that Abraham bought for a sum of money from the sons of Hamor, the father of Shechem.

መዝሙር Psalm

Ps 46 : 3 - 4 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

He subdued the peoples under us And the nations under our feet. He chose us for His inheritance, Jacob's beauty, which He loved.

ወንጌል Gospel

Jn 4 : 1 - 25 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

1. Therefore, when the Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John 2. (though Jesus Himself did not baptize, but His disciples), 3. He left Judea and departed again to Galilee. 4. But He needed to go through Samaria. 5. So He came to a city of Samaria which is called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. 6. Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied from His journey, sat thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour. 7. A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.” 8. For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food. 9. Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. 10. Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink, ’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” 11. The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water? 12. Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?” 13. Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14. but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” 15. The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw.” 16. Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here.” 17. The woman answered and said, “ I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You have well said, ‘ I have no husband, ’ 18. for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; in that you spoke truly.” 19. The woman said to Him, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. 20. Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship.” 21. Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22. You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. 23. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” 25. The woman said to Him, “ I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ). “When He comes, He will tell us all things.” Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.
