Ps 40 : 4 - 5 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders You performed, And in Your thoughts there is no one who shall be likened to You; I declared and said, “They are multiplied beyond number.

ወንጌል Gospel

Jn 5 : 31 - 40 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

31. “If I bear witness of Myself, My witness is not true. 32. There is another who bears witness of Me, and I know that the witness which He witnesses of Me is true. 33. You have sent to John, and he has borne witness to the truth. 34. Yet I do not receive testimony from man, but I say these things that you may be saved. 35. He was the burning and shining lamp, and you were willing for a time to rejoice in his light. 36. But I have a greater witness than John's; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish—the very works that I do—bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me. 37. And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form. 38. But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe. 39. You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. 40. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life. Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

Rom 10 : 1 - 13 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

1. Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. 2. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 3. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. 4. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. 5. For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, “The man who does those things shall live by them.” 6. But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down from above) 7. or, “‘Who will descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8. But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9. that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”

ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle

Js 2 : 1 - 10 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

1. My brethren, do not hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with partiality. 2. For if there should come into your assembly a man with gold rings, in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes, 3. and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him, “You sit here in a good place,” and say to the poor man, “You stand there,” or, “Sit here at my footstool,” 4. have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts? 5. Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him? 6. But you have dishonored the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you and drag you into the courts? 7. Do they not blaspheme that noble name by which you are called? 8. If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well; 9. but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors. 10. For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.

Acts 2 : 37 - 43 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

37. Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” 38. Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” 40. And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” 41. Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. 42. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.

ወንጌል Gospel

Lk 3 : 7 - 15 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

7. Then he said to the multitudes that came out to be baptized by him, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8. Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father. ’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. 9. And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” 10. So the people asked him, saying, “What shall we do then?” 11. He answered and said to them, “He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise.” 12. Then tax collectors also came to be baptized, and said to him, “Teacher, what shall we do?” 13. And he said to them, “Collect no more than what is appointed for you.” 14. Likewise the soldiers asked him, saying, “And what shall we do?” So he said to them, “Do not intimidate anyone or accuse falsely, and be content with your wages.” 15. Now as the people were in expectation, and all reasoned in their hearts about John, whether he was the Christ or not, ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

ወንጌል Gospel

Jn 1 : 19 - 23 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

19. Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?” 20. He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, “ I am not the Christ.” 21. And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” He said, “ I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.” 22. Then they said to him, “Who are you, that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?” 23. He said: “ I am ‘ The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Make straight the way of the Lord,” ’ as the prophet Isaiah said.” Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

ወንጌል Gospel

Jn 12 : 36 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

36. While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” These things Jesus spoke, and departed, and was hidden from them. 37. But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him, 38. that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke: “Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?” 39. Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again: 40. “He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, Lest they should see with their eyes, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.” 41. These things Isaiah said when he saw His glory and spoke of Him. 42. Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; 43. for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. Jesus’ Words: From the Father 44. Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. 45. And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. 46. I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. 47. And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48. He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. 49. For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. 50. And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.” Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle

Rom 9 : 20 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

20. But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?” 21. Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor? 22. What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23. and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, 24. even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? 25. As He says also in Hosea: “ I will call them My people, who were not My people, And her beloved, who was not beloved.” 26. “And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people, ’ There they shall be called sons of the living God.” 27. Isaiah also cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, The remnant will be saved. 28. For He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, Because the LORD will make a short work upon the earth.” 29. And as Isaiah said before: “Unless the LORD of Sabaotha had left us a seed, We would have become like Sodom, And we would have been made like Gomorrah.” 30. What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness of faith; 31. but Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, has not attained to the law of righteousness. a 32. Why? Because they did not seek it by faith, but as it were, by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumbling stone. 33. As it is written: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense, And whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”

ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle

1Pet 1 : 6 - 12 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

6. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 7. that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, 8. whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9. receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls. 10. Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, 11. searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. 12. To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things which angels desire to look into.

ግብረ ሃዋርያት Acts

Acts 28 : 24 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

24. And some were persuaded by the things which were spoken, and some disbelieved. 25. So when they did not agree among themselves, they departed after Paul had said one word: “The Holy Spirit spoke rightly through Isaiah the prophet to our fathers, 26. saying, ‘Go to this people and say: “Hearing you will hear, and shall not understand; And seeing you will see, and not perceive; 27. For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.” ’ 28. “Therefore let it be known to you that the salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will hear it!” 29. And when he had said these words, the Jews departed and had a great dispute among themselves. 30. Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him, 31. preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no one forbidding him.

ወንጌል Gospel

Lk 3 : 1 - 9 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

1. Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judea, Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, his brother Philip tetrarch of Iturea and the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias tetrarch of Abilene, 2. while Annas and Caiaphas were high priests, the word of God came to John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. 3. And he went into all the region around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins, 4. as it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, saying: “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His paths straight. 5. Every valley shall be filled And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough ways smooth; 6. And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.’” 7. Then he said to the multitudes that came out to be baptized by him, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8. 1. We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2. For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. 3. We give no offense in anything, that our ministry may not be blamed. 4. But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses, 5. in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings; 6. by purity, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love, 7. by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, 8. by honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true; 9. as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as chastened, and yet not killed; 10. as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

1Pet 3 : 14 - 17 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

14. But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” 15. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; 16. having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. 17. Acts 19 : 1 - 10 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

1. And it happened, while Apollos was at Corinth, that Paul, having passed through the upper regions, came to Ephesus. And finding some disciples 2. he said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” So they said to him, “We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.” 3. And he said to them, “Into what then were you baptized?” So they said, “Into John's baptism.” 4. Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.” 5. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6. And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. 7. Now the men were about twelve in all. 8. And he went into the synagogue and spoke boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading concerning the things of the kingdom of God. 9. But when some were hardened and did not believe, but spoke evil of the Way before the multitude, he departed from them and withdrew the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus. 10. And this continued for two years, so that all who dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

2Cor 3 : 7 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

7. But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, 8. how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious? 9. For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory. 10. For even what was made glorious had no glory in this respect, because of the glory that excels. 11. For if what is passing away was glorious, what remains is much more glorious. 12. Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech— 13. unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away. 14. But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. 15. But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. 16. Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Jude 1 : 1 - 9 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

1. Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, To those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ: 2. Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. 3. Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. 4. For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ. 5. But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. 6. And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; 7. as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. 8. Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. 9. Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”

Acts 7 : 23 - 29 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

23. “Now when he was forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren, the children of Israel. 24. And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended and avenged him who was oppressed, and struck down the Egyptian. 25. For he supposed that his brethren would have understood that God would deliver them by his hand, but they did not understand. 26. And the next day he appeared to two of them as they were fighting, and tried to reconcile them, saying, ‘Men, you are brethren; why do you wrong one another? ’ 27. But he who did his neighbor wrong pushed him away, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge over us? 28. Do you want to kill me as you did the Egyptian yesterday? ’ 29. Then, at this saying, Moses fled and became a dweller in the land of Midian, where he had two sons.

Mt 23 : 29 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

29. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, 30. and say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. ’ 31. “Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. 32. Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, 35. that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36. Rom 6 : 18 - 23 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

18. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. 19. I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness. 20. For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. 21. What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. 22. But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. 23. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Js 1 : 2 - 12 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

2. My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3. knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 5. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8. he is a double - minded man, unstable in all his ways. 9. Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, 10. but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away. 11. For no sooner has the sun risen with a burning heat than it withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beautiful appearance perishes. So the rich man also will fade away in his pursuits. 12. Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

44. On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God. 45. But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy; and contradicting and blaspheming, they opposed the things spoken by Paul. 46. Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, “It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles. 47. For so the Lord has commanded us: ‘ I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’” 48. Now when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord. And as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed. 49. And the word of the Lord was being spread throughout all the region. 50. But the Jews stirred up the devout and prominent women and the chief men of the city, raised up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their region. 51. But they shook off the dust from their feet against them, and came to Iconium. 52. And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.

Heb 13 : 14 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

14. For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come. 15. Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. 16. But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. 17. Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. 18. Pray for us; for we are confident that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably. 19. But I especially urge you to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner. 20. Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21. make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. 22. And I appeal to you, brethren, bear with the word of exhortation, for I have written to you in few words. 23. Know that our brother Timothy has been set free, with whom I shall see you if he comes shortly. 24. Greet all those who rule over you, and all the saints. Those from Italy greet you. 25. Grace be with you all. Amen.

Js 3 : 13 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

13. Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14. But if you have bitter envy and self - seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16. For where envy and self - seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

ግብረ ሃዋርያት Acts

Acts 15 : 1 - 12 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

1. And certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.” 2. Therefore, when Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and dispute with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas and certain others of them should go up to Jerusalem, to the apostles and elders, about this question. 3. So, being sent on their way by the church, they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, describing the conversion of the Gentiles; and they caused great joy to all the brethren. 4. And when they had come to Jerusalem, they were received by the church and the apostles and the elders; and they reported all things that God had done with them. 5. But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, “It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.” 6. Now the apostles and elders came together to consider this matter. 7. And when there had been much dispute, Peter rose up and said to them: “Men and brethren, you know that a good while ago God chose among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe. 8. So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us, 9. and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. 10. Now therefore, why do you test God by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? 11. But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved in the same manner as they.” 12. Then all the multitude kept silent and listened to Barnabas and Paul declaring how many miracles and wonders God had worked through them among the Gentiles.

Rom 7 : 1 - 6 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

1. Or do you not know, brethren (for I speak to those who know the law), that the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives? 2. For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband. 3. So then if, while her husband lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man. 4. Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. 5. For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death. 6. But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.

13. Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.” 14. Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so. 15. And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?” 16. Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. 17. This became known both to all Jews and Greeks dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. 18. And many who had believed came confessing and telling their deeds. 19. Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted up the value of them, and it totaled fifty thousand pieces of silver. 20. So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.

2Tim 2 : 1 - 13 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

1. You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2. And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. 3. You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. 5. And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. 6. The hardworking farmer must be first to partake of the crops. 7. Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things. 8. Remember that Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, was raised from the dead according to my gospel, 9. for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained. 10. Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 11. This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, We shall also live with Him. 12. If we endure, We shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us. 13. If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.

ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle

Js 5 : 1 - 9 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

1. Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! 2. Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. 3. Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days. 4. Indeed the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. 5. You have lived on the earth in pleasure and luxury; you have fattened your hearts as in a day of slaughter. 6. You have condemned, you have murdered the just; he does not resist you. 7. Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. 8. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. 9. Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!

ግብረ ሃዋርያት Acts

Acts 14 : 14 - 20 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

14. But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard this, they tore their clothes and ran in among the multitude, crying out 15. and saying, “Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men with the same nature as you, and preach to you that you should turn from these useless things to the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all things that are in them, 16. who in bygone generations allowed all nations to walk in their own ways. 17. Nevertheless He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good, gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.” 18. And with these sayings they could scarcely restrain the multitudes from sacrificing to them. 19. Then Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there; and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead. 20. However, when the disciples gathered around him, he rose up and went into the city. And the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.

መዝሙር Psalm

Ps 84 : 12 - 13 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

For the Lord will give goodness, And our land shall yield its fruit. Righteousness shall go before Him And establish His footsteps as our pathway.

ወንጌል Gospel

Mt 12 : 1 - 8 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]

1. At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath. And His disciples were hungry, and began to pluck heads of grain and to eat. 2. And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to Him, “Look, Your disciples are doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath!” 3. But He said to them, “Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him: 4. how he entered the house of God and ate the showbread which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests? 5. Or have you not read in the law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless? 6. Yet I say to you that in this place there is One greater than the temple. 7. But if you had known what this means, ‘ I desire mercy and not sacrifice, ’ you would not have condemned the guiltless. 8. For the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.” The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’
