Ps 20 : 1 - 2 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]May the Lord hear you in the day of affliction; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you. May He send you help from His holy place.
ወንጌል Gospel
Mt 1 : 9 - 17 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]9. Uzziah begot Jotham, Jotham begot Ahaz, and Ahaz begot Hezekiah. 10. Hezekiah begot Manasseh, Manasseh begot Amon, and Amon begot Josiah. 11. Josiah begot Jeconiah and his brothers about the time they were carried away to Babylon. 12. And after they were brought to Babylon, Jeconiah begot Shealtiel, and Shealtiel begot Zerubbabel. 13. Zerubbabel begot Abiud, Abiud begot Eliakim, and Eliakim begot Azor. 14. Azor begot Zadok, Zadok begot Achim, and Achim begot Eliud. 15. Eliud begot Eleazar, Eleazar begot Matthan, and Matthan begot Jacob. 16. And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus who is called Christ. 17. So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations, from David until the captivity in Babylon are fourteen generations, and from the captivity in Babylon until the Christ are fourteen generations. The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
1Tim 2 : 1 - 8 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2. for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4. who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6. who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, 7. for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle— I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth. 8. I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting;

1Pet 3 : 10 - 15 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]10. For “He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit. 11. Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it. 12. For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil.” 13. And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? 14. But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” 15. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

Acts 9 : 10 - 16 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]10. Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and to him the Lord said in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Here I am, Lord.” 11. So the Lord said to him, “Arise and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold, he is praying. 12. And in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in and putting his hand on him, so that he might receive his sight.” 13. Then Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem. 14. And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on Your name.” 15. But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. 16. For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name's sake.”

Ps 21 : 1 - 2 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]O Lord, the king shall be glad in Your power, And in Your salvation he will greatly rejoice. You gave him his soul's desire, And You did not deprive him of his lips’ request.

Ps 61 ፡ 6 - 7
You will add days to the days of the king, His years as the days of generation to generation. He will abide before God forever.
ወንጌል Gospel
Lk 14 : 28 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]28. For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it— 29. lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, 30. saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish’? 31. Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? 32. Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace. 33. So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple. 34. “Salt is good; but if the salt has lost its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? 35. It is neither fit for the land nor for the dunghill, but men throw it out. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

Ps 75 : 4 - 5 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]I said to those who transgress the law, “Do not transgress the law,” And to those who sin I said, “Do not exalt yourselves; Do not boast in yourselves; Do not accuse God of wrongdoing.”
ወንጌል Gospel
Mt 5 : 29 - 37 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]29. If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. 30. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. 31. “Furthermore it has been said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce. ’ 32. But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery. 33. “Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform your oaths to the Lord. ’ 34. But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God's throne; 35. nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. 36. Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black. 37. But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes, ’ and your ‘No, ’ ‘No. ’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one. The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

Ps 69 : 13 - 14 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]But I, O Lord, pray with my prayer to You; It is the time of Your goodwill, O God, in the abundance of Your mercies.
ወንጌል Gospel
Mt 6 : 1 - 8 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. “Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. 2. Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 3. But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4. that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly. 5. “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 6. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. 7. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. 8. “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
2Cor 10 : 1 - 10 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Now I, Paul, myself am pleading with you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ—who in presence am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you. 2. But I beg you that when I am present I may not be bold with that confidence by which I intend to be bold against some, who think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. 3. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5. casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6. and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. 7. Do you look at things according to the outward appearance? If anyone is convinced in himself that he is Christ's, let him again consider this in himself, that just as he is Christ's, even so we are Christ's. 8. For even if I should boast somewhat more about our authority, which the Lord gave us for edification and not for your destruction, I shall not be ashamed— 9. lest I seem to terrify you by letters. 10. “For his letters,” they say, “are weighty and powerful, but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.”
ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle
Js 4 : 5 - 12 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]5. Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously” ? 6. But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” 7. Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double - minded. 9. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. 11. Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. 12. There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?
ግብረ ሃዋርያት Acts
Acts 2 : 42 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]42. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. 44. Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, 45. and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. 46. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47. praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.

Ps 112 : 6 - 7 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]A righteous man shall be in everlasting remembrance. He shall not be afraid because of an evil report; His heart is prepared to hope in the Lord.
ወንጌል Gospel
Lk 15 : 1 - 10 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. 2. And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, “This Man receives sinners and eats with them.” 3. So He spoke this parable to them, saying: 4. “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety - nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? 5. And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost! ’ 7. I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety - nine just persons who need no repentance. 8. “Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? 9. And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost! ’ 10. Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

ወንጌል Gospel
Mt 27 : 57 - 61 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]57. Now when evening had come, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who himself had also become a disciple of Jesus. 58. This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be given to him. 59. When Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, 60. and laid it in his new tomb which he had hewn out of the rock; and he rolled a large stone against the door of the tomb, and departed. 61. And Mary Magdalene was there, and the other Mary, sitting opposite the tomb. The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

Ps 48 : 11 - 12 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]Let Mount Zion be glad; Let the daughters of Judah greatly rejoice Because of Your judgments, O Lord.
ወንጌል Gospel
Lk 8 : 1 - 8 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Now it came to pass, afterward, that He went through every city and village, preaching and bringing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God. And the twelve were with Him, 2. and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities—Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons, 3. and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others who provided for Him from their substance. 4. And when a great multitude had gathered, and they had come to Him from every city, He spoke by a parable: 5. “A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell by the wayside; and it was trampled down, and the birds of the air devoured it. 6. Some fell on rock; and as soon as it sprang up, it withered away because it lacked moisture. 7. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up with it and choked it. 8. But others fell on good ground, sprang up, and yielded a crop a hundredfold.” When He had said these things He cried, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
1Cor 7 : 12 - 20 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]12. But to the rest I, not the Lord, say: If any brother has a wife who does not believe, and she is willing to live with him, let him not divorce her. 13. And a woman who has a husband who does not believe, if he is willing to live with her, let her not divorce him. 14. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy. 15. But if the unbeliever departs, let him depart; a brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases. But God has called us to peace. 16. For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether you will save your wife? 17. But as God has distributed to each one, as the Lord has called each one, so let him walk. And so I ordain in all the churches. 18. Was anyone called while circumcised? Let him not become uncircumcised. Was anyone called while uncircumcised? Let him not be circumcised. 19. Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God is what matters. 20. Let each one remain in the same calling in which he was called.
ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle
1Pet 3 : 1 - 7 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, 2. when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear. 3. Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— 4. rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. 5. For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands, 6. as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror. 7. Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.
ግብረ ሃዋርያት Acts
Acts 16 : 12 - 18 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]12. and from there to Philippi, which is the foremost city of that part of Macedonia, a colony. And we were staying in that city for some days. 13. And on the Sabbath day we went out of the city to the riverside, where prayer was customarily made; and we sat down and spoke to the women who met there. 14. Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us. She was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, who worshiped God. The Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul. 15. And when she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.” So she persuaded us. 16. Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much profit by fortune - telling. 17. This girl followed Paul and us, and cried out, saying, “These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.” 18. And this she did for many days. But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “ I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And he came out that very hour.

ወንጌል Gospel
Mk 16 : 9 - 18 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]9. Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons. 10. She went and told those who had been with Him, as they mourned and wept. 11. And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe. 12. After that, He appeared in another form to two of them as they walked and went into the country. 13. And they went and told it to the rest, but they did not believe them either. 14. Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. 15. And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18. they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

Mk 8 : 27 - 33 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]27. Now Jesus and His disciples went out to the towns of Caesarea Philippi; and on the road He asked His disciples, saying to them, “Who do men say that I am?” 28. So they answered, “John the Baptist; but some say, Elijah; and others, one of the prophets.” 29. He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered and said to Him, “You are the Christ.” 30. Then He strictly warned them that they should tell no one about Him. 31. And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. 32. He spoke this word openly. Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him. 33. But when He had turned around and looked at His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying, “Get behind Me, Satan! For you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.” He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

Heb 9 : 1 - 10 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Then indeed, even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service and the earthly sanctuary. 2. For a tabernacle was prepared: the first part, in which was the lampstand, the table, and the showbread, which is called the sanctuary; 3. and behind the second veil, the part of the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of All, 4. which had the golden censer and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that had the manna, Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant; 5. and above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail. 6. Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services. 7. But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people's sins committed in ignorance; 8. the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing. 9. It was symbolic for the present time in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered which cannot make him who performed the service perfect in regard to the conscience— 10. concerned only with foods and drinks, various washings, and fleshly ordinances imposed until the time of reformation.

1Pet 2 : 1 - 10 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, 2. as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, 3. if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. 4. Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, 5. you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6. Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.” 7. Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone,” 8. and “A stone of stumbling And a rock of offense.” They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed. 9. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10. who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

Acts 10 : 9 - 16 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]9. The next day, as they went on their journey and drew near the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray, about the sixth hour. 10. Then he became very hungry and wanted to eat; but while they made ready, he fell into a trance 11. and saw heaven opened and an object like a great sheet bound at the four corners, descending to him and let down to the earth. 12. In it were all kinds of four - footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and birds of the air. 13. And a voice came to him, “Rise, Peter; kill and eat.” 14. But Peter said, “Not so, Lord! For I have never eaten anything common or unclean.” 15. And a voice spoke to him again the second time, “What God has cleansed you must not call common.” 16. This was done three times. And the object was taken up into heaven again.

Mt 16 : 13 - 20 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]13. When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” 14. So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” 15. He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16. Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17. Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar - Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. 19. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” 20. Then He commanded His disciples that they should tell no one that He was Jesus the Christ. The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

Lk 7 : 40 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]40. And Jesus answered and said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.” So he said, “Teacher, say it.” 41. “There was a certain creditor who had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. 42. And when they had nothing with which to repay, he freely forgave them both. Tell Me, therefore, which of them will love him more?” 43. Simon answered and said, “ I suppose the one whom he forgave more.” And He said to him, “You have rightly judged.” 44. Then He turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head. 45. You gave Me no kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet since the time I came in. 46. You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil. 47. Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” 48. Then He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” 49. And those who sat at the table with Him began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?” 50. Then He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.” ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

Because you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, 30. and say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. ’ 31. “Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. 32. Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers' guilt. 33. Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell? 34. Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, 35. that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36. Rom 9 : 24 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]24. even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? 25. As He says also in Hosea: “ I will call them My people, who were not My people, And her beloved, who was not beloved.” 26. “And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people, ’ There they shall be called sons of the living God.” 27. Isaiah also cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, The remnant will be saved. 28. For He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, Because the LORD will make a short work upon the earth.” 29. And as Isaiah said before: “Unless the LORD of Sabaotha had left us a seed, We would have become like Sodom, And we would have been made like Gomorrah.” 30. What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness of faith; 31. but Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, has not attained to the law of righteousness. a 32. Why? Because they did not seek it by faith, but as it were, by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumbling stone. 33. As it is written: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense, And whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”

1Pet 4 : 12 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]12. Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; 13. but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. 14. If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. 15. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people's matters. 16. Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter. 17. For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18. Now “If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?” 19. Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.

But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins” —then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” 7. Phil 1 : 12 - 23 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]12. But I want you to know, brethren, that the things which happened to me have actually turned out for the furtherance of the gospel, 13. so that it has become evident to the whole palace guard, and to all the rest, that my chains are in Christ; 14. and most of the brethren in the Lord, having become confident by my chains, are much more bold to speak the word without fear. 15. Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife, and some also from goodwill: 16. The former preach Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my chains; 17. but the latter out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel. 18. What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice. 19. For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, 20. according to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. 21. For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22. But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell. 23. For I am hard - pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.

Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening? 12. Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh. 13. Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14. But if you have bitter envy and self - seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16. For where envy and self - seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Heb 12 : 22 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]22. But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, 23. to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24. to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel. 25. See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, 26. whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” 27. Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. 29. For our God is a consuming fire.

Heb 11 : 8 - 16 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]8. By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. 9. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; 10. for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. 11. By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. 12. Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore. 13. These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14. For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. 15. And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. 16. But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.
ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle
2Jn 1 : 1 - 7 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. The Elder, To the elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth, and not only I, but also all those who have known the truth, 2. because of the truth which abides in us and will be with us forever: 3. Grace, mercy, and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. 4. I rejoiced greatly that I have found some of your children walking in truth, as we received commandment from the Father. 5. And now I plead with you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but that which we have had from the beginning: that we love one another. 6. This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it. 7. For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
ግብረ ሃዋርያት Acts
Acts 27 : 39 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]39. When it was day, they did not recognize the land; but they observed a bay with a beach, onto which they planned to run the ship if possible. 40. And they let go the anchors and left them in the sea, meanwhile loosing the rudder ropes; and they hoisted the mainsail to the wind and made for shore. 41. But striking a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the prow stuck fast and remained immovable, but the stern was being broken up by the violence of the waves. 42. And the soldiers’ plan was to kill the prisoners, lest any of them should swim away and escape. 43. But the centurion, wanting to save Paul, kept them from their purpose, and commanded that those who could swim should jump overboard first and get to land, 44. and the rest, some on boards and some on parts of the ship. And so it was that they all escaped safely to land.

ወንጌል Gospel
Lk 1 : 35 - 45 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]35. And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. 36. Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. 37. For with God nothing will be impossible.” 38. Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her. Elizabeth Praises Mary, Mother of God 39. Now Mary arose in those days and went into the hill country with haste, to a city of Judah, 40. and entered the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth. 41. And it happened, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42. Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! 43. But why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44. For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. 45. Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.” ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.
