Delight in the Lord, And He will give you the requests of your heart. Reveal your way to the Lord, And hope in Him; and He will do it.

17. Then one of the crowd answered and said, “Teacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit. 18. And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not.” 19. He answered him and said, “O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to Me.” 20. Then they brought him to Him. And when he saw Him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth. 21. So He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “ From childhood. 22. And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.” 23. Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” 24. Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

1. Let brotherly love continue. 2. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. 3. Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also. 4. Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge. 5. Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “ I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6. So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. 23. And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment. 24. Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” 9. Nicodemus answered and said to Him, “How can these things be?” Life in the Kingdom 10. Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? 11. Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. 12. If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

God spoke once; I heard these two things: That power is of God, and to You, O Lord, is mercy; For You will repay every man according to his works.

25. Jesus answered them, “ I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father's name, they bear witness of Me. 26. But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. 27. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand. 30. I and My Father are one.” Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

1. But I determined this within myself, that I would not come again to you in sorrow. 2. For if I make you sorrowful, then who is he who makes me glad but the one who is made sorrowful by me? 3. And I wrote this very thing to you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow over those from whom I ought to have joy, having confidence in you all that my joy is the joy of you all. 4. For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote to you, with many tears, not that you should be grieved, but that you might know the love which I have so abundantly for you. 5. But if anyone has caused grief, he has not grieved me, but all of you to some extent—not to be too severe. 6. This punishment which was inflicted by the majority is sufficient for such a man, 7. so that, on the contrary, you ought rather to forgive and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one be swallowed up with too much sorrow. 8. Therefore I urge you to reaffirm your love to him.

When He had entered a house away from the crowd, His disciples asked Him concerning the parable. 18. So He said to them, “Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him, 19. because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purifying all foods?” 20. And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. 21. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. 4. By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks. 5. By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6. The Pharisees came and asked Him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?” testing Him. 3. And He answered and said to them, “What did Moses command you?” 4. They said, “Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce, and to dismiss her.” 5. And Jesus answered and said to them, “ Because of the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept. 6. But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female. ’ 7. ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, 8. and the two shall become one flesh’; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” 10. In the house His disciples also asked Him again about the same matter. 11. So He said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her. 12. 12. that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. 13. For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, 14. saying, “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.” 15. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. 16. For men indeed swear by the greater, and an oath for confirmation is for them an end of all dispute. 17. Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, 18. that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. 19. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, 20. where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; 20. for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. 21. Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. 22. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all. 42. Who provides food for the hungry. The Lord frees those bound. The Lord restores those broken down.

15. Then He charged them, saying, “Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.” 16. And they reasoned among themselves, saying, “It is because we have no bread.” 17. But Jesus, being aware of it, said to them, “Why do you reason because you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive nor understand? Is your heart still hardened? 18. Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember? 19. When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments did you take up?” They said to Him, “Twelve.” 20. “Also, when I broke the seven for the four thousand, how many large baskets full of fragments did you take up?” And they said, “Seven.” 21. With You is the beginning in the day of Your power, In the brightness of Your saints; “I have begotten You from the womb before the morning star.” The Lord swore and will not repent, “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.”

6. I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7. which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8.
