Ps 30 : 1 - 2 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]I will exalt You, O Lord, for You lifted me up, And did not let my enemies rejoice over me. O Lord my God, I cry to You, and You will heal me.
ወንጌል Gospel
Lk 17 : 15 - 19 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]15. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16. and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan. 17. So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? 18. Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” 19. And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.” The Coming of the Kingdom ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
Rom 6 : 1 - 8 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2. Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? 3. Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4. Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5. For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6. knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. 7. For he who has died has been freed from sin. 8. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,

Js 4 : 1 - 7 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? 2. You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. 3. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. 4. Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 5. Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously” ? 6. But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” 7. Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
ግብረ ሃዋርያት Acts
Acts 21 : 1 - 7 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Now it came to pass, that when we had departed from them and set sail, running a straight course we came to Cos, the following day to Rhodes, and from there to Patara. 2. And finding a ship sailing over to Phoenicia, we went aboard and set sail. 3. When we had sighted Cyprus, we passed it on the left, sailed to Syria, and landed at Tyre; for there the ship was to unload her cargo. 4. And finding disciples, we stayed there seven days. They told Paul through the Spirit not to go up to Jerusalem. 5. When we had come to the end of those days, we departed and went on our way; and they all accompanied us, with wives and children, till we were out of the city. And we knelt down on the shore and prayed. 6. When we had taken our leave of one another, we boarded the ship, and they returned home. 7. And when we had finished our voyage from Tyre, we came to Ptolemais, greeted the brethren, and stayed with them one day.

ወንጌል Gospel
Lk 18 : 34 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]34. But they understood none of these things; this saying was hidden from them, and they did not know the things which were spoken. 35. Then it happened, as He was coming near Jericho, that a certain blind man sat by the road begging. 36. And hearing a multitude passing by, he asked what it meant. 37. So they told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. 38. And he cried out, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 39. Then those who went before warned him that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” 40. So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be brought to Him. And when he had come near, He asked him, 41. saying, “What do you want Me to do for you?” He said, “Lord, that I may receive my sight.” 42. Then Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.” 43. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God. ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

Mk 9 : 19 - 30 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]19. He answered him and said, “O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to Me.” 20. Then they brought him to Him. And when he saw Him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth. 21. So He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “ From childhood. 22. And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.” 23. Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” 24. Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” 25. When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!” 26. Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, “He is dead.” 27. But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose. 28. And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, “Why could we not cast it out?” 29. So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.” 30. Then they departed from there and passed through Galilee, and He did not want anyone to know it. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

Mt 12 : 38 - 42 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]38. Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from You.” 39. But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 40. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41. The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here. 42. The queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and indeed a greater than Solomon is here. The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

መልእክተ ጳውሎስ Pauline Epistle
Rom 13 : 1 - 10 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. 2. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. 3. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. 4. For he is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. 5. Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake. 6. For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God's ministers attending continually to this very thing. 7. Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor. 8. Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. 9. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10. Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Js 1 : 1 - 8 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. James, a bondservant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad: Greetings. 2. My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3. knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 5. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8. he is a double - minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Lk 5 : 18 - 26 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]18. Then behold, men brought on a bed a man who was paralyzed, whom they sought to bring in and lay before Him. 19. And when they could not find how they might bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the tiling into the midst before Jesus. 20. When He saw their faith, He said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.” 21. And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, “Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?” 22. But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, He answered and said to them, “Why are you reasoning in your hearts? 23. Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you, ’ or to say, ‘Rise up and walk’? 24. But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins” —He said to the man who was paralyzed, “ I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” 25. Immediately he rose up before them, took up what he had been lying on, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. 26. And they were all amazed, and they glorified God and were filled with fear, saying, “We have seen strange things today!” ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

Rom 9 : 24 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]24. even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? 25. As He says also in Hosea: “ I will call them My people, who were not My people, And her beloved, who was not beloved.” 26. “And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people, ’ There they shall be called sons of the living God.” 27. Isaiah also cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, The remnant will be saved. 28. For He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, Because the LORD will make a short work upon the earth.” 29. And as Isaiah said before: “Unless the LORD of Sabaotha had left us a seed, We would have become like Sodom, And we would have been made like Gomorrah.” 30. What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness of faith; 31. but Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, has not attained to the law of righteousness. a 32. Why? Because they did not seek it by faith, but as it were, by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumbling stone. 33. As it is written: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense, And whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”

3Jn 1 : 1 - 9 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. The Elder, To the beloved Gaius, whom I love in truth: 2. Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 3. For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. 4. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. 5. Beloved, you do faithfully whatever you do for the brethren and for strangers, 6. who have borne witness of your love before the church. If you send them forward on their journey in a manner worthy of God, you will do well, 7. because they went forth for His name's sake, taking nothing from the Gentiles. 8. We therefore ought to receive such, that we may become fellow workers for the truth. 9. I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, does not receive us.

Acts 14 : 1 - 7 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Now it happened in Iconium that they went together to the synagogue of the Jews, and so spoke that a great multitude both of the Jews and of the Greeks believed. 2. But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brethren. 3. Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands. 4. But the multitude of the city was divided: part sided with the Jews, and part with the apostles. 5. And when a violent attempt was made by both the Gentiles and Jews, with their rulers, to abuse and stone them, 6. they became aware of it and fled to Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and to the surrounding region. 7. And they were preaching the gospel there.

But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 18. And pray that your flight may not be in winter. 19. For in those days there will be tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the creation which God created until this time, nor ever shall be. 20. And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days. 21. “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ! ’ or, ‘Look, He is there! ’ do not believe it. 22. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 23. But take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

And it happened, as he sowed, that some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds of the aira came and devoured it. 5. Some fell on stony ground, where it did not have much earth; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of earth. 6. But when the sun was up it was scorched, and because it had no root it withered away. 7. And some seed fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no crop. 8. But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.” 9. Heb 4 : 1 - 13 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. 2. For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. 3. For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: “So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest,’” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4. For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”; a 5. and again in this place: “They shall not enter My rest.” 6. Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience, 7. again He designates a certain day, saying in David, “Today,” after such a long time, as it has been said: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts.” 8. For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. 9. There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. 10. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. 11. Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. 12. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two - edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

Js 5 : 13 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]13. Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. 14. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. 17. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 18. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit. 19. Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, 20. let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.

Acts 7 : 35 - 43 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]35. “This Moses whom they rejected, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge? ’a is the one God sent to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the Angel who appeared to him in the bush. 36. He brought them out, after he had shown wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red Sea, and in the wilderness forty years. 37. “This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel, ‘ The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear. ’ 38. “This is he who was in the congregation in the wilderness with the Angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, the one who received the living oracles to give to us, 39. whom our fathers would not obey, but rejected. And in their hearts they turned back to Egypt, 40. saying to Aaron, ‘Make us gods to go before us; as for this Moses who brought us out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him. ’ 41. And they made a calf in those days, offered sacrifices to the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands. 42. Then God turned and gave them up to worship the host of heaven, as it is written in the book of the Prophets: ‘Did you offer Me slaughtered animals and sacrifices during forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel? 43. You also took up the tabernacle of Moloch, And the star of your god Remphan, Images which you made to worship; And I will carry you away beyond Babylon. ’

Ps 138 : 1 - 2 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]I shall sing to You in the presence of angels. I shall bow down and worship toward Your holy temple, And I will give thanks to Your name For Your mercy and Your truth.
ወንጌል Gospel
Lk 1 : 11 - 20 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]11. Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense. 12. And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him. 13. But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. 14. And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth. 15. For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb. 16. And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God. 17. He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, ’a and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” 18. And Zacharias said to the angel, “How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years.” 19. And the angel answered and said to him, “ I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad tidings. 20. But behold, you will be mute and not able to speak until the day these things take place, because you did not believe my words which will be fulfilled in their own time.” ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.

Do You not know that I have power to crucify You, and power to release You?” 11. Jesus answered, “You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from above. Therefore the one who delivered Me to you has the greater sin.” 12. From then on Pilate sought to release Him, but the Jews cried out, saying, “If you let this Man go, you are not Caesar's friend. Whoever makes himself a king speaks against Caesar.” 13. When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus out and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called The Pavement, but in Hebrew, Gabbatha. 14. Now it was the Preparation Day of the Passover, and about the sixth hour. And he said to the Jews, “Behold your King!” 15. But they cried out, “Away with Him, away with Him! Crucify Him!” Pilate said to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king but Caesar!” 16. Then he delivered Him to them to be crucified. Then they took Jesus and led Him away. Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. 25. He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26. If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor. 27. “Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour. 28. Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came from heaven, saying, “ I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.” 29. Therefore the people who stood by and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, “An angel has spoken to Him.” 30. Jesus answered and said, “This voice did not come because of Me, but for your sake. 31. Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. 32. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” 33. This He said, signifying by what death He would die. 34. The people answered Him, “We have heard from the law that the Christ remains forever; and how can You say, ‘ The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?” Whoever believes in the SON, have eternal life.

Heb 12 : 1 - 10 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2. looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3. For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. 4. You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin. 5. And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: “My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; 6. For whom the LORD loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.” 7. If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? 8. But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. 9. Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? 10. For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness.

1Jn 3 : 5 - 11 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]5. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. 7. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. 10. In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. 11. For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another,

Acts 9 : 10 - 19 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]10. Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and to him the Lord said in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Here I am, Lord.” 11. So the Lord said to him, “Arise and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold, he is praying. 12. And in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in and putting his hand on him, so that he might receive his sight.” 13. Then Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem. 14. And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on Your name.” 15. But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. 16. For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name's sake.” 17. And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” 18. Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized. 19. So when he had received food, he was strengthened. Then Saul spent some days with the disciples at Damascus.

Mt 26 : 55 - 68 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]55. In that hour Jesus said to the multitudes, “Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to take Me? I sat daily with you, teaching in the temple, and you did not seize Me. 56. But all this was done that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples forsook Him and fled. 57. And those who had laid hold of Jesus led Him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled. 58. But Peter followed Him at a distance to the high priest's courtyard. And he went in and sat with the servants to see the end. 59. Now the chief priests, the elders, and all the council sought false testimony against Jesus to put Him to death, 60. but found none. Even though many false witnesses came forward, they found none. But at last two false witnesses came forward 61. and said, “This fellow said, ‘ I am able to destroy the temple of God and to build it in three days.’” 62. And the high priest arose and said to Him, “Do You answer nothing? What is it these men testify against You?” 63. But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest answered and said to Him, “ I put You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God!” 64. Jesus said to him, “It is as you said. Nevertheless, I say to you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.” 65. Then the high priest tore his clothes, saying, “He has spoken blasphemy! What further need do we have of witnesses? Look, now you have heard His blasphemy! 66. What do you think?” They answered and said, “He is deserving of death.” 67. Then they spat in His face and beat Him; and others struck Him with the palms of their hands, 68. saying, “Prophesy to us, Christ! Who is the one who struck You?” The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

And with many such parables He spoke the word to them as they were able to hear it. 34. But without a parable He did not speak to them. And when they were alone, He explained all things to His disciples. 35. On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.” 36. Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. 37. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. 38. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. 1Cor 14 : 6 - 13 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]6. But now, brethren, if I come to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you unless I speak to you either by revelation, by knowledge, by prophesying, or by teaching? 7. Even things without life, whether flute or harp, when they make a sound, unless they make a distinction in the sounds, how will it be known what is piped or played? 8. For if the trumpet makes an uncertain sound, who will prepare for battle? 9. So likewise you, unless you utter by the tongue words easy to understand, how will it be known what is spoken? For you will be speaking into the air. 10. There are, it may be, so many kinds of languages in the world, and none of them is without significance. 11. Therefore, if I do not know the meaning of the language, I shall be a foreigner to him who speaks, and he who speaks will be a foreigner to me. 12. Even so you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, let it be for the edification of the church that you seek to excel. 13. Therefore let him who speaks in a tongue pray that he may interpret.

On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. 15. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people's matters. 16. Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter. 17. For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18. Now “If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?” 19. Then he came out of the land of the Chaldeans and dwelt in Haran. And from there, when his father was dead, He moved him to this land in which you now dwell. 5. And God gave him no inheritance in it, not even enough to set his foot on. But even when Abraham had no child, He promised to give it to him for a possession, and to his descendants after him. 6. But God spoke in this way: that his descendants would dwell in a foreign land, and that they would bring them into bondage and oppress them four hundred years. 7. ‘ And the nation to whom they will be in bondage I will judge, ’ said God, ‘and after that they shall come out and serve Me in this place. ’ 8. Mt 13 : 10 - 23 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]10. And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” 11. He answered and said to them, “ Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. 12. For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. 13. Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14. And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: ‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; 15. For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them. ’ 16. But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; 17. for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it. 18. “Therefore hear the parable of the sower: 19. When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. 20. But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21. yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. 22. Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. 23. But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” The Lord told his desciples, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.’

But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God” — 6. then he need not honor his father or mother. ’ Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition. 7. For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God; 8. but if it bears thorns and briers, it is rejected and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned. 9. But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner. 10. For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11. And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, 12. that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. 13. For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, 14. saying, “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.” 15. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. 16. For men indeed swear by the greater, and an oath for confirmation is for them an end of all dispute. 17. Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, 18. that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. 19. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, 20. where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.
ዘካልእ መልእክት Universal Epistle
Js 5 : 12 - end [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]12. But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your “Yes” be “Yes,” and your “No,” “No,” lest you fall into judgment. 13.
ግብረ ሃዋርያት Acts
Acts 27 : 6 - 15 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]6. There the centurion found an Alexandrian ship sailing to Italy, and he put us on board. 7. When we had sailed slowly many days, and arrived with difficulty off Cnidus, the wind not permitting us to proceed, we sailed under the shelter of Crete off Salmone. 8. Passing it with difficulty, we came to a place called Fair Havens, near the city of Lasea. 9. Now when much time had been spent, and sailing was now dangerous because the Fast was already over, Paul advised them, 10. saying, “Men, I perceive that this voyage will end with disaster and much loss, not only of the cargo and ship, but also our lives.” 11. Nevertheless the centurion was more persuaded by the helmsman and the owner of the ship than by the things spoken by Paul. 12. And because the harbor was not suitable to winter in, the majority advised to set sail from there also, if by any means they could reach Phoenix, a harbor of Crete opening toward the southwest and northwest, and winter there. 13. When the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their desire, putting out to sea, they sailed close by Crete. 14. But not long after, a tempestuous head wind arose, called Euroclydon. 15. So when the ship was caught, and could not head into the wind, we let her drive.

ወንጌል Gospel
Lk 8 : 1 - 21 [ትግርኛ][ግእዝ][ልሙድ]1. Now it came to pass, afterward, that He went through every city and village, preaching and bringing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God. And the twelve were with Him, 2. and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities—Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons, 3. and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others who provided for Him from their substance. 4. And when a great multitude had gathered, and they had come to Him from every city, He spoke by a parable: 5. “A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell by the wayside; and it was trampled down, and the birds of the air devoured it. 6. Some fell on rock; and as soon as it sprang up, it withered away because it lacked moisture. 7. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up with it and choked it. 8. But others fell on good ground, sprang up, and yielded a crop a hundredfold.” When He had said these things He cried, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” 9. Then His disciples asked Him, saying, “What does this parable mean?” 10. And He said, “To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that ‘Seeing they may not see, And hearing they may not understand. ’ 11. “Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12. Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. 13. But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away. 14. Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity. 15. But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience. 16. “No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light. 17. For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light. 18. Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him.” 19. Then His mother and brothers came to Him, and could not approach Him because of the crowd. 20. And it was told Him by some, who said, “Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, desiring to see You.” 21. But He answered and said to them, “My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.” ‘It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail,’ says the Lord to his desciples.
